2Cor.1:4 der uns tröstet in aller unsrer Trübsal, daß auch wir trösten können, die da sind in allerlei Trübsal, mit dem Trost, damit wir getröstet werden von Gott.

2Co 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. (kjv)

2Cor.1:5 Denn gleichwie wir des Leidens Christi viel haben, also werden wir auch reichlich getröstet durch Christum.

2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. (kjv)

 2Co 1:6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer;

2Cor.1:6 Wir haben aber Trübsal oder Trost, so geschieht es euch zugute. Ist's Trübsal, so geschieht es euch zu Trost und Heil; welches Heil sich beweist, so ihr leidet mit Geduld, dermaßen, wie wir leiden. Ist's Trost, so geschieht auch das euch zu Trost und Heil;

2Co 1:7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. (kjv)

 2Co 1:7 and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

2Cor.1:7 und unsre Hoffnung steht fest für euch, dieweil wir wissen, daß, wie ihr des Leidens teilhaftig seid, so werdet ihr auch des Trostes teilhaftig sein.

2Co 1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: (kjv)

2Cor.1:8 Denn wir wollen euch nicht verhalten, liebe Brüder, unsre Trübsal, die uns in Asien widerfahren ist, da wir über die Maßen beschwert waren und über Macht, also daß wir auch am Leben verzagten

2Co 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; (kjv)

 2Co 1:10 who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us,

2Cor.1:10 welcher uns von solchem Tode erlöst hat und noch täglich erlöst; und wir hoffen auf ihn, er werde uns auch hinfort erlösen,

2Co 1:11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf. (kjv)

 2Co 1:11 you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many.

2Cor.1:11 durch Hilfe auch eurer Fürbitte für uns, auf daß über uns für die Gabe, die uns gegeben ist, durch viel Personen viel Dank geschehe.

2Co 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. (kjv)

 2Co 1:12 For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

2Cor.1:12 Denn unser Ruhm ist dieser: das Zeugnis unsers Gewissens, daß wir in Einfalt und göttlicher Lauterkeit, nicht in fleischlicher Weisheit, sondern in der Gnade Gottes auf der Welt gewandelt haben, allermeist aber bei euch.

2Co 1:13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; (kjv)

 2Co 1:13 For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end;

2Cor.1:13 Denn wir schreiben euch nichts anderes, als was ihr leset und auch befindet. Ich hoffe aber, ihr werdet uns auch bis ans Ende also befinden, gleichwie ihr uns zum Teil befunden habt.

2Co 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus. (kjv)

 2Co 1:17 Therefore, I was not vacillating when I intended to do this, was I? Or what I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, so that with me there will be yes, yes and no, no at the same time?

2Cor.1:17 Bin ich aber leichtfertig gewesen, da ich solches dachte? Oder sind meine Anschläge fleischlich? Nicht also; sondern bei mir ist Ja Ja, und Nein ist Nein.

2Co 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. (kjv)

2Cor.1:19 Denn der Sohn Gottes, Jesus Christus, der unter euch durch uns gepredigt ist, durch mich und Silvanus und Timotheus, der war nicht Ja und Nein, sondern es war Ja in ihm.

2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (kjv)

 2Co 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

2Cor.1:20 Denn alle Gottesverheißungen sind Ja in ihm und sind Amen in ihm, Gott zu Lobe durch uns.

2Co 1:23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. (kjv)

2Cor.1:23 Ich rufe aber Gott an zum Zeugen auf meine Seele, daß ich euch verschont habe in dem, daß ich nicht wieder gen Korinth gekommen bin.

 2Co 1:24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but are workers with you for your joy; for in your faith you are standing firm.

2Cor.1:24 Nicht daß wir Herren seien über euren Glauben, sondern wir sind Gehilfen eurer Freude; denn ihr stehet im Glauben.

2Cor.2:1 Ich dachte aber solches bei mir, daß ich nicht abermals in Traurigkeit zu euch käme.

2Co 2:2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? (kjv)

 2Co 2:2 For if I cause you sorrow, who then makes me glad but the one whom I made sorrowful?

2Cor.2:2 Denn, so ich euch traurig mache, wer ist, der mich fröhlich mache, wenn nicht, der da von mir betrübt wird?

2Co 2:3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. (kjv)

 2Co 2:3 This is the very thing I wrote you, so that when I came, I would not have sorrow from those who ought to make me rejoice; having confidence in you all that my joy would be the joy of you all.

2Cor.2:3 Und dasselbe habe ich euch geschrieben, daß ich nicht, wenn ich käme, über die traurig sein müßte, über welche ich mich billig soll freuen; sintemal ich mich des zu euch allen versehe, daß meine Freude euer aller Freude sei.

2Co 2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. (kjv)

 2Co 2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears; not so that you would be made sorrowful, but that you might know the love which I have especially for you.

2Cor.2:4 Denn ich schrieb euch in großer Trübsal und Angst des Herzens mit viel Tränen; nicht, daß ihr solltet betrübt werden, sondern auf daß ihr die Liebe erkennet, welche ich habe sonderlich zu euch.

2Co 2:5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. (kjv)

 2Co 2:5 But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow not to me, but in some degree--in order not to say too much--to all of you.

2Cor.2:5 So aber jemand eine Betrübnis hat angerichtet, der hat nicht mich betrübt, sondern zum Teil, auf daß ich nicht zu viel sage, euch alle.

2Co 2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. (kjv)

2Cor.2:6 Es ist aber genug, daß derselbe von vielen also gestraft ist,

2Co 2:7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. (kjv)

 2Co 2:7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a one might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

2Co 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; (kjv)

 2Co 2:10 But one whom you forgive anything, I forgive also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ,

2Cor.2:10 Welchem aber ihr etwas vergebet, dem vergebe ich auch. Denn auch ich, so ich etwas vergebe jemand, das vergebe ich um euretwillen an Christi Statt,

2Co 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (kjv)

 2Co 2:11 so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

2Cor.2:11 auf daß wir nicht übervorteilt werden vom Satan; denn uns ist nicht unbewußt, was er im Sinn hat.

2Co 2:13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia. (kjv)

2Cor.2:13 hatte ich keine Ruhe in meinem Geist, da ich Titus, meinen Bruder, nicht fand; sondern ich machte meinen Abschied mit ihnen und fuhr aus nach Mazedonien.

2Co 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. (kjv)

 2Co 2:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

2Cor.2:14 Aber Gott sei gedankt, der uns allezeit Sieg gibt in Christo und offenbart den Geruch seiner Erkenntnis durch uns an allen Orten!

2Co 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: (kjv)

 2Co 2:15 For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;

2Cor.2:15 Denn wir sind Gott ein guter Geruch Christi unter denen, die selig werden, und unter denen, die verloren werden:

2Co 2:16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? (kjv)

 2Co 2:16 to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?

2Cor.2:16 diesen ein Geruch des Todes zum Tode, jenen aber ein Geruch des Lebens zum Leben. Und wer ist hierzu tüchtig?

2Co 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.(kjv)

 2Co 2:17 For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

2Cor.2:17 Denn wir sind nicht, wie die vielen, die das Wort Gottes verfälschen; sondern als aus Lauterkeit und als aus Gott reden wir vor Gott in Christo.

2Co 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? (kjv)

 2Co 3:1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you or from you?

2Cor.3:1 Heben wir denn abermals an, uns selbst zu preisen? Oder bedürfen wir, wie etliche, der Lobebriefe an euch oder Lobebriefe von euch?

2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: (kjv)

 2Co 3:2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;

2Cor.3:2 Ihr seid unser Brief, in unser Herz geschrieben, der erkannt und gelesen wird von allen Menschen;

2Co 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. (kjv)

 2Co 3:3 being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2Cor.3:3 die ihr offenbar geworden seid, daß ihr ein Brief Christi seid, durch unsern Dienst zubereitet, und geschrieben nicht mit Tinte, sondern mit dem Geist des lebendigen Gottes, nicht in steinerne Tafeln, sondern in fleischerne Tafeln des Herzens.

2Co 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: (kjv)

 2Co 3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God.

2Cor.3:4 Ein solch Vertrauen aber haben wir durch Christum zu Gott.

2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; (kjv)

 2Co 3:5 Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

2Cor.3:5 Nicht, daß wir tüchtig sind von uns selber, etwas zu denken als von uns selber; sondern daß wir tüchtig sind, ist von Gott,

2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (kjv)

 2Co 3:6 who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2Cor.3:6 welcher auch uns tüchtig gemacht hat, das Amt zu führen des Neuen Testaments, nicht des Buchstaben, sondern des Geistes. Denn der Buchstabe tötet, aber der Geist macht lebendig.

2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: (kjv)

 2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,

2Cor.3:7 So aber das Amt, das durch die Buchstaben tötet und in die Steine gebildet war, Klarheit hatte, also daß die Kinder Israel nicht konnten ansehen das Angesicht Mose's um der Klarheit willen seines Angesichtes, die doch aufhört,

2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? (kjv)

 2Co 3:8 how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory?

2Cor.3:8 wie sollte nicht viel mehr das Amt, das den Geist gibt, Klarheit haben!

2Co 3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. (kjv)

 2Co 3:9 For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory.

2Cor.3:9 Denn so das Amt, das die Verdammnis predigt, Klarheit hat, wie viel mehr hat das Amt, das die Gerechtigkeit predigt, überschwengliche Klarheit.

2Co 3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. (kjv)

 2Co 3:10 For indeed what had glory, in this case has no glory because of the glory that surpasses it.

2Cor.3:10 Denn auch jenes Teil, das verklärt war, ist nicht für Klarheit zu achten gegen die überschwengliche Klarheit.

2Co 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. (kjv)

 2Co 3:11 For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

2Cor.3:11 Denn so das Klarheit hatte, das da aufhört, wie viel mehr wird das Klarheit haben, das da bleibt.

2Co 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: (kjv)

 2Co 3:12 Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech,

2Cor.3:12 Dieweil wir nun solche Hoffnung haben, sind wir voll großer Freudigkeit

2Co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: (kjv)

 2Co 3:13 and are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel would not look intently at the end of what was fading away.

2Cor.3:13 und tun nicht wie Mose, der die Decke vor sein Angesicht hing, daß die Kinder Israel nicht ansehen konnten das Ende des, das aufhört;

2Co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. (kjv)

 2Co 3:14 But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ.

2Cor.3:14 sondern ihre Sinne sind verstockt. Denn bis auf den heutigen Tag bleibt diese Decke unaufgedeckt über dem alten Testament, wenn sie es lesen, welche in Christo aufhört;

2Co 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. (kjv)

 2Co 3:15 But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart;

2Cor.3:15 aber bis auf den heutigen Tag, wenn Mose gelesen wird, hängt die Decke vor ihrem Herzen.

2Co 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. (kjv)

 2Co 3:16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

2Cor.3:16 Wenn es aber sich bekehrte zu dem HERRN, so würde die Decke abgetan.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (kjv)

 2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

2Cor.3:17 Denn der HERR ist der Geist; wo aber der Geist des HERRN ist, da ist Freiheit.

2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.(kjv)

 2Co 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
