Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Bestelle dein Haus; denn du wirst sterben und nicht lebendig bleiben!(dhs) Isa 38:1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. "(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 38:2 ============ Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,(nasb) Isa 38:2 καὶ ἀπέστÏεψεν Εζεκιας τὸ Ï€Ïόσωπον αá½Ï„οῦ Ï€Ïὸς τὸν τοῖχον καὶ Ï€Ïοσηύξατο Ï€Ïὸς κύÏιον (lxx) Isa 38:2 Et convertit Ezechias faciem suam ad parietem, et oravit ad Dominum,(vulgate) Isa 38:2 Da wandte Hiskia sein Angesicht zur Wand und betete zum HERRN(dhs) Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 38:3 ============ Isa 38:3 and said, "Remember now, O Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.(nasb) Isa 38:3 λέγων μνήσθητι κύÏιε ὡς á¼Ï€Î¿Ïεύθην á¼Î½á½½Ï€Î¹á½¹Î½ σου μετὰ ἀληθείας á¼Î½ καÏδίᾳ ἀληθινῇ καὶ τὰ á¼€Ïεστὰ á¼Î½á½½Ï€Î¹á½¹Î½ σου á¼Ï€Î¿á½·Î·ÏƒÎ± καὶ ἔκλαυσεν Εζεκιας κλαυθμῷ μεγάλῳ (lxx) Isa 38:3 et dixit: Obsecro, Domine, memento, quæso, quomodo ambulaverim coram te in veritate et in corde perfecto, et quod bonum est in oculis tuis fecerim. Et flevit Ezechias fletu magno.(vulgate) Isa 38:3 und sprach: Gedenke doch, HERR, wie ich vor dir gewandelt habe in der Wahrheit, mit vollkommenem Herzen, und habe getan, was dir gefallen hat. Siehe, ich will deinen Tagen noch fünfzehn Jahre zulegen(dhs) Isa 38:5 "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 38:6 ============ Isa 38:6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city."'(nasb) Isa 38:6 καὶ á¼Îº χειÏὸς βασιλέως ἈσσυÏίων σώσω σε καὶ á½‘Ï€á½²Ï Ï„á¿†Ï‚ πόλεως ταύτης ὑπεÏασπιῶ (lxx) Isa 38:6 et de manu regis Assyriorum eruam te, et civitatem istam, et protegam eam.(vulgate) Isa 38:6 und will dich samt dieser Stadt erretten von der Hand des Königs von Assyrien; denn ich will diese Stadt wohl verteidigen.(dhs) Isa 38:6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city." '(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 38:7 ============ Isa 38:7 "This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that He has spoken:(nasb) Isa 38:7 τοῦτο δέ σοι τὸ σημεῖον παÏá½° κυÏίου ὅτι ὠθεὸς ποιήσει τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο (lxx) Isa 38:7 Hoc autem tibi erit signum a Domino, quia faciet Dominus verbum hoc quod locutus est:(vulgate) Isa 38:7 Und habe dir das zum Zeichen von dem HERRN, daß der HERR solches tun wird, was er geredet hat:(dhs) Isa 38:7 And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 38:8 ============ Isa 38:8 Behold, I will cause the shadow on the stairway, which has gone down with the sun on the stairway of Ahaz, to go back ten steps." So the sun's shadow went back ten steps on the stairway on which it had gone down.(nasb) Isa 38:8 τὴν σκιὰν τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν οὓς κατέβη ὠἥλιος τοὺς δέκα ἀναβαθμοὺς τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ πατÏός σου ἀποστÏέψω τὸν ἥλιον τοὺς δέκα ἀναβαθμούς καὶ ἀνέβη ὠἥλιος τοὺς δέκα ἀναβαθμούς οὓς κατέβη ἡ σκιά (lxx) Isa 38:8 ecce ego reverti faciam umbram linearum per quas descenderat in horologio Achaz in sole, retrorsum decem lineis. Et reversus est sol decem lineis per gradus quos descenderat.~(vulgate) Isa 38:8 Siehe ich will den Schatten am Sonnenzeiger des Ahas zehn Stufen zurückziehen, über welche er gelaufen ist. Und die Sonne lief zehn Stufen zurück am Zeiger, über welche sie gelaufen war.(dhs) Isa 38:8 Behold, I will bring the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward."
