They will be for flocks to lie down in,
And there will be no one to frighten them.
 Isa 17:3 "The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
And sovereignty from Damascus And the remnant of Aram;
They will be like the glory of the sons of Israel, "Declares the Lord of hosts.
 Isa 17:4 Now in that day the glory of Jacob will fade,
And the fatness of his flesh will become lean.
 Isa 17:5 It will be even like the reaper gathering the standing grain,
As his arm harvests the ears,
Or it will be like one gleaning ears of grain In the valley of Rephaim.
 Isa 17:6 Yet gleanings will be left in it like the shaking of an olive tree,
Two or three olives on the topmost bough,
Four or five on the branches of a fruitful tree, Declares the Lord, the God of Israel.
 Isa 17:7 In that day man will have regard for his Maker
And his eyes will look to the Holy One of Israel.
 Isa 17:8 He will not have regard for the altars, the work of his hands,
Nor will he look to that which his fingers have made, Even the Asherim and incense stands.
 Isa 17:9 In that day their strong cities will be like forsaken places in the forest,
Or like branches which they abandoned before the sons of Israel;
And the land will be a desolation.
 Isa 17:10 For you have forgotten the God of your salvation
And have not remembered the rock of your refuge.
Therefore you plant delightful plants
And set them with vine slips of a strange god.

And in the morning you bring your seed to blossom;
But the harvest will be a heap In a day of sickliness and incurable pain.
 Isa 17:12 Alas, the uproar of many peoples
Who roar like the roaring of the seas, And the rumbling of nations
Who rush on like the rumbling of mighty waters!
 Isa 17:13 The nations rumble on like the rumbling of many waters,
But He will rebuke them and they will flee far away,
And be chased like chaff in the mountains before the wind,
Or like whirling dust before a gale.
 Isa 17:14 At evening time, behold, there is terror!
Before morning they are no more. Such will be the portion of
those who plunder us And the lot of those who pillage us.

 Jer 49:23  Concerning Damascus.

They are disheartened. There is anxiety by the sea, It cannot be calmed.

And panic has gripped her; Distress and pangs have taken hold of her Like a woman in childbirth.

And all the men of war will be silenced in that day," declares the Lord of hosts.
 Jer 49:27 "I will set fire to the wall of Damascus,
And it will devour the fortified towers of Ben-hadad."

Thus says the Lord: "Does Israel have no sons? Or has he no heirs?
Why then has Malcam taken possession of Gad And his people settled in its cities?
 Jer 49:2 "Therefore behold, the days are coming," declares the Lord,
"That I will cause a trumpet blast of war to be heard Against Rabbah of the sons of Ammon;
And it will become a desolate heap, And her towns will be set on fire.
Then Israel will take possession of his possessors," Says the Lord.
 Jer 49:3 "Wail, O Heshbon, for Ai has been destroyed!
Cry out, O daughters of Rabbah, Gird yourselves with sackcloth and lament,
And rush back and forth inside the walls;
For Malcam will go into exile Together with his priests and his princes.
 Jer 49:4 "How boastful you are about the valleys! Your valley is flowing away,
O backsliding daughter Who trusts in her treasures, saying, 'Who will come against me?'
 Jer 49:5 "Behold, I am going to bring terror upon you,"
Declares the Lord God of hosts, "From all directions around you;
And each of you will be driven out headlong, With no one to gather the fugitives together.

Zep 2:8 "I have heard the taunting of Moab
And the revilings of the sons of Ammon,
With which they have taunted My people And become arrogant against their territory.
 Zep 2:9 "Therefore, as I live," declares the Lord of hosts,
The God of Israel, "Surely Moab will be like Sodom And the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah"
A place possessed by nettles and salt pits, And a perpetual desolation.
The remnant of My people will plunder them And the remainder of My nation will inherit them."
 Zep 2:10 This they will have in return for their pride,

The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence,
And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.
 Isa 19:2 "So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians;
And they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbor,
City against city and kingdom against kingdom.

And I will confound their strategy,
So that they will resort to idols and ghosts of the dead And to mediums and spiritists.

And a mighty king will rule over them," declares the Lord God of hosts.

And those who spread nets on the waters will pine away.
 Isa 19:9 Moreover, the manufacturers of linen made from combed flax
And the weavers of white cloth will be utterly dejected.
 Isa 19:10  And the pillars of Egypt will be crushed;
All the hired laborers will be grieved in soul.
 Isa 19:11  The princes of Zoan are mere fools;
The advice of Pharaoh's wisest advisers has become stupid.
How can you men say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings"?
 Isa 19:12 Well then, where are your wise men? Please let them tell you,
And let them understand what the Lord of hosts Has purposed against Egypt.

which He is going to wave over them.

of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the Lord of hosts; one will be called the City of Destruction.

Final Arab-Israel War - Psalm 83
    Ammon - Palestinians & Northern Jordanians
-----------------------------------------------
 Psa 83:1  O God, do not remain quiet;
Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.
 Psa 83:2 For behold, Your enemies make an uproar,
And those who hate You have exalted themselves.
 Psa 83:3 They make shrewd plans against Your people,
And conspire together against Your treasured ones.
 Psa 83:4 They have said, "Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation,
That the name of Israel be remembered no more."
 Psa 83:5  For they have conspired together with one mind;
Against You they make a covenant:
 Psa 83:6  The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites;
 Psa 83:7  Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
 Psa 83:8  Assyria also has joined with them;
They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.
 Psa 83:9 Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent of Kishon,
 Psa 83:10 Who were destroyed at En-dor,
Who became as dung for the ground.
 Psa 83:11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb
And all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
 Psa 83:12 Who said, "Let us possess for ourselves The pastures of God."
 Psa 83:13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust,
Like chaff before the wind.
 Psa 83:14 Like fire that burns the forest
And like a flame that sets the mountains on fire,
 Psa 83:15 So pursue them with Your tempest
And terrify them with Your storm.
 Psa 83:16 Fill their faces with dishonor,
That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
 Psa 83:17 Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever,
And let them be humiliated and perish,
 Psa 83:18 That they may know that You alone,
whose name is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.

Vanishing of the Christians - 1 Cor. 15:51-52, 1 Thess 4:15-18
-----------------------------------------------
 1Co 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
 1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet;
for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1Th 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord,
that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord,
will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
