Lam 1:1 How lonely sits the city That was full of people! She has become like a widow Who was once great among the nations! She who was a princess among the provinces Has become a forced laborer! Lam 1:1 How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary! (kjv) Lam.1:1 Wie liegt die Stadt so wüst, die voll Volks war! Sie ist wie eine Witwe, die Fürstin unter den Heiden; und die eine Königin in den Ländern war, muß nun dienen. Lam 1:1 πῶς ἐκάθισεν μόνη ἡ πόλις ἡ πεπληθυμμένη λαῶν ἐγενήθη ὡς χήρα πεπληθυμμένη ἐν ἔθνεσιν ἄρχουσα ἐν χώραις ἐγενήθη εἰς φόρον ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:2 She weeps bitterly in the night And her tears are on her cheeks; She has none to comfort her Among all her lovers. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies. (kjv) Lam.1:2 Sie weint des Nachts, daß ihr die Tränen über die Wangen laufen; es ist niemand unter allen ihren Freunden, der sie tröstet; alle ihre Nächsten sind ihr untreu und ihre Feinde geworden. Lam 1:2 κλαίουσα ἔκλαυσεν ἐν νυκτί καὶ τὰ δάκρυα αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τῶν σιαγόνων αὐτῆς καὶ οὐχ ὑπάρχει ὁ παρακαλῶν αὐτὴν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἀγαπώντων αὐτήν πάντες οἱ φιλοῦντες αὐτὴν ἠθέτησαν ἐν αὐτῇ ἐγένοντο αὐτῇ εἰς ἐχθρούς ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:3 Judah has gone into exile under affliction And under harsh servitude; She dwells among the nations, But she has found no rest; All her pursuers have overtaken her In the midst of distress. Lam 1:3 Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. (kjv) Lam.1:3 Juda ist gefangen in Elend und schwerem Dienst; sie wohnt unter den Heiden und findet keine Ruhe; alle ihre Verfolger halten sie übel. Lam 1:3 μετῳκίσθη ἡ Ιουδαία ἀπὸ ταπεινώσεως αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπὸ πλήθους δουλείας αὐτῆς ἐκάθισεν ἐν ἔθνεσιν οὐχ εὗρεν ἀνάπαυσιν πάντες οἱ καταδιώκοντες αὐτὴν κατέλαβον αὐτὴν ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν θλιβόντων ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:4 The roads of Zion are in mourning Because no one comes to the appointed feasts. All her gates are desolate; Her priests are groaning, Her virgins are afflicted, And she herself is bitter. Lam 1:4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. (kjv) Lam.1:4 Die Straßen gen Zion liegen wüst; weil niemand auf ein Fest kommt; alle ihre Tore stehen öde, ihre Priester seufzen; ihre Jungfrauen sehen jämmerlich, und sie ist betrübt. Lam 1:4 ὁδοὶ Σιων πενθοῦσιν παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ἐρχομένους ἐν ἑορτῇ πᾶσαι αἱ πύλαι αὐτῆς ἠφανισμέναι οἱ ἱερεῖς αὐτῆς ἀναστενάζουσιν αἱ παρθένοι αὐτῆς ἀγόμεναι καὶ αὐτὴ πικραινομένη ἐν ἑαυτῇ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:5 Her adversaries have become her masters, Her enemies prosper; For the Lord has caused her grief Because of the multitude of her transgressions; Her little ones have gone away As captives before the adversary. Lam 1:5 Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy. (kjv) Lam.1:5 Ihre Widersacher schweben empor, ihren Feinden geht's wohl; denn der HERR hat sie voll Jammers gemacht um ihrer großen Sünden willen, und ihre Kinder sind gefangen vor dem Feinde hin gezogen. Lam 1:5 ἐγένοντο οἱ θλίβοντες αὐτὴν εἰς κεφαλήν καὶ οἱ ἐχθροὶ αὐτῆς εὐθηνοῦσαν ὅτι κύριος ἐταπείνωσεν αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀσεβειῶν αὐτῆς τὰ νήπια αὐτῆς ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ κατὰ πρόσωπον θλίβοντος ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:6 All her majesty Has departed from the daughter of Zion; Her princes have become like deer That have found no pasture; And they have fled without strength Before the pursuer. Lam 1:6 And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer. (kjv) Lam.1:6 Es ist von der Tochter Zion aller Schmuck dahin. Ihre Fürsten sind wie die Widder, die keine Weide finden und matt vor dem Treiber her gehen. Lam 1:6 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἐκ θυγατρὸς Σιων πᾶσα ἡ εὐπρέπεια αὐτῆς ἐγένοντο οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτῆς ὡς κριοὶ οὐχ εὑρίσκοντες νομὴν καὶ ἐπορεύοντο ἐν οὐκ ἰσχύι κατὰ πρόσωπον διώκοντος ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:7 In the days of her affliction and homelessness Jerusalem remembers all her precious things That were from the days of old, When her people fell into the hand of the adversary And no one helped her. The adversaries saw her, They mocked at her ruin. Lam 1:7 Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths. (kjv) Lam.1:7 Jerusalem denkt in dieser Zeit, wie elend und verlassen sie ist und wie viel Gutes sie von alters her gehabt hat, weil all ihr Volk darniederliegt unter dem Feinde und ihr niemand hilft; ihre Feinde sehen ihre Lust an ihr und spotten ihrer Sabbate. Lam 1:7 ἐμνήσθη Ιερουσαλημ ἡμερῶν ταπεινώσεως αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπωσμῶν αὐτῆς πάντα τὰ ἐπιθυμήματα αὐτῆς ὅσα ἦν ἐξ ἡμερῶν ἀρχαίων ἐν τῷ πεσεῖν τὸν λαὸν αὐτῆς εἰς χεῖρας θλίβοντος καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ βοηθῶν αὐτῇ ἰδόντες οἱ ἐχθροὶ αὐτῆς ἐγέλασαν ἐπὶ μετοικεσίᾳ αὐτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:8 Jerusalem sinned greatly, Therefore she has become an unclean thing. All who honored her despise her Because they have seen her nakedness; Even she herself groans and turns away. Lam 1:8 Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward. (kjv) Lam.1:8 Jerusalem hat sich versündigt; darum muß sie sein wie ein unrein Weib. Alle die sie ehrten, verschmähen sie jetzt, weil sie ihre Blöße sehen; sie aber seufzt und hat sich abgewendet. Lam 1:8 ἁμαρτίαν ἥμαρτεν Ιερουσαλημ διὰ τοῦτο εἰς σάλον ἐγένετο πάντες οἱ δοξάζοντες αὐτὴν ἐταπείνωσαν αὐτήν εἶδον γὰρ τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς καί γε αὐτὴ στενάζουσα καὶ ἀπεστράφη ὀπίσω ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:9 Her uncleanness was in her skirts; She did not consider her future. Therefore she has fallen astonishingly; She has no comforter. "See, O Lord, my affliction, For the enemy has magnified himself!" Lam 1:9 Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself. (kjv) Lam.1:9 Ihr Unflat klebt an ihrem Saum; sie hätte nicht gemeint, daß es ihr zuletzt so gehen würde. Sie ist ja zu greulich heruntergestoßen und hat dazu niemand, der sie tröstet. Ach HERR, siehe an mein Elend; denn der Feind prangt sehr! Lam 1:9 ἀκαθαρσία αὐτῆς πρὸς ποδῶν αὐτῆς οὐκ ἐμνήσθη ἔσχατα αὐτῆς καὶ κατεβίβασεν ὑπέρογκα οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ παρακαλῶν αὐτήν ἰδέ κύριε τὴν ταπείνωσίν μου ὅτι ἐμεγαλύνθη ἐχθρός ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:10 The adversary has stretched out his hand Over all her precious things, For she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, The ones whom You commanded That they should not enter into Your congregation. Lam 1:10 The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation. (kjv) Lam.1:10 Der Feind hat seine Hand an alle ihre Kleinode gelegt; denn sie mußte zusehen, daß die Heiden in ihr Heiligtum gingen, von denen du geboten hast, sie sollen nicht in die Gemeinde kommen. Lam 1:10 χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐξεπέτασεν θλίβων ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἐπιθυμήματα αὐτῆς εἶδεν γὰρ ἔθνη εἰσελθόντα εἰς τὸ ἁγίασμα αὐτῆς ἃ ἐνετείλω μὴ εἰσελθεῖν αὐτὰ εἰς ἐκκλησίαν σου ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:11 All her people groan seeking bread; They have given their precious things for food To restore their lives themselves. "See, O Lord, and look, For I am despised." Lam 1:11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. (kjv) Lam.1:11 All ihr Volk seufzt und geht nach Brot; sie geben ihre Kleinode um Speise, daß sie die Seele laben. Ach HERR sieh doch und schaue, wie schnöde ich geworden bin! Lam 1:11 πᾶς ὁ λαὸς αὐτῆς καταστενάζοντες ζητοῦντες ἄρτον ἔδωκαν τὰ ἐπιθυμήματα αὐτῆς ἐν βρώσει τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι ψυχήν ἰδέ κύριε καὶ ἐπίβλεψον ὅτι ἐγενήθην ἠτιμωμένη ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:12 "Is it nothing to all you who pass this way? Look and see if there is any pain like my pain Which was severely dealt out to me, Which the Lord inflicted on the day of His fierce anger. Lam 1:12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. (kjv) Lam.1:12 Euch sage ich allen, die ihr vorübergeht; Schauet doch und sehet, ob irgend ein Schmerz sei wie mein Schmerz, der mich getroffen hat; denn der HERR hat mich voll Jammers gemacht am Tage seines grimmigen Zorns. Lam 1:12 οὐ πρὸς ὑμᾶς πάντες οἱ παραπορευόμενοι ὁδόν ἐπιστρέψατε καὶ ἴδετε εἰ ἔστιν ἄλγος κατὰ τὸ ἄλγος μου ὃ ἐγενήθη φθεγξάμενος ἐν ἐμοὶ ἐταπείνωσέν με κύριος ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς θυμοῦ αὐτοῦ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:13 "From on high He sent fire into my bones, And it prevailed over them. He has spread a net for my feet; He has turned me back; He has made me desolate, Faint all day long. (kjv) Lam.1:13 Er hat ein Feuer aus der Höhe in meine Gebeine gesandt und es lassen walten. Er hat meinen Füßen ein Netz gestellt und mich zurückgeprellt; er hat mich zur Wüste gemacht, daß ich täglich trauern muß. Lam 1:13 ἐξ ὕψους αὐτοῦ ἀπέστειλεν πῦρ ἐν τοῖς ὀστέοις μου κατήγαγεν αὐτό διεπέτασεν δίκτυον τοῖς ποσίν μου ἀπέστρεψέν με εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω ἔδωκέν με ἠφανισμένην ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν ὀδυνωμένην ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:14 "The yoke of my transgressions is bound; By His hand they are knit together. They have come upon my neck; He has made my strength fail. The Lord has given me into the hands Of those against whom I am not able to stand. Lam 1:14 The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the LORD hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up. (kjv) Lam.1:14 Meine schweren Sünden sind durch seine Strafe erwacht und in Haufen mir auf den Hals gekommen, daß mir alle meine Kraft vergeht. Der HERR hat mich also zugerichtet, daß ich nicht aufkommen kann. Lam 1:14 ἐγρηγορήθη ἐπὶ τὰ ἀσεβήματά μου ἐν χερσίν μου συνεπλάκησαν ἀνέβησαν ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλόν μου ἠσθένησεν ἡ ἰσχύς μου ὅτι ἔδωκεν κύριος ἐν χερσίν μου ὀδύνας οὐ δυνήσομαι στῆναι ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:15 "The Lord has rejected all my strong men In my midst; He has called an appointed time against me To crush my young men; The Lord has trodden as in a wine press The virgin daughter of Judah. Lam 1:15 The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress. (kjv) Lam.1:15 Der HERR hat zertreten alle meine Starken, die ich hatte; er hat über mich ein Fest ausrufen lassen, meine junge Mannschaft zu verderben. Der HERR hat der Jungfrau Tochter Juda die Kelter getreten. Lam 1:15 ἐξῆρεν πάντας τοὺς ἰσχυρούς μου ὁ κύριος ἐκ μέσου μου ἐκάλεσεν ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ καιρὸν τοῦ συντρῖψαι ἐκλεκτούς μου ληνὸν ἐπάτησεν κύριος παρθένῳ θυγατρὶ Ιουδα ἐπὶ τούτοις ἐγὼ κλαίω ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:16 "For these things I weep; My eyes run down with water; Because far from me is a comforter, One who restores my soul. My children are desolate Because the enemy has prevailed." Lam 1:16 For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. (kjv) Lam.1:16 Darum weine ich so, und meine beiden Augen fließen mit Wasser, daß der Tröster, der meine Seele sollte erquicken, fern von mir ist. Meine Kinder sind dahin; denn der Feind hat die Oberhand gekriegt. Lam 1:16 ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου κατήγαγεν ὕδωρ ὅτι ἐμακρύνθη ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ὁ παρακαλῶν με ὁ ἐπιστρέφων ψυχήν μου ἐγένοντο οἱ υἱοί μου ἠφανισμένοι ὅτι ἐκραταιώθη ὁ ἐχθρός ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:17 Zion stretches out her hands; There is no one to comfort her; The Lord has commanded concerning Jacob That the ones round about him should be his adversaries; Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them. Lam 1:17 Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. (kjv) Lam.1:17 Zion streckt ihre Hände aus, und ist doch niemand, der sie tröste; denn der HERR hat rings um Jakob her seinen Feinden geboten, daß Jerusalem muß zwischen ihnen sein wie ein unrein Weib. Lam 1:17 διεπέτασεν Σιων χεῖρας αὐτῆς οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ παρακαλῶν αὐτήν ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Ιακωβ κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ οἱ θλίβοντες αὐτόν ἐγενήθη Ιερουσαλημ εἰς ἀποκαθημένην ἀνὰ μέσον αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:18 "The Lord is righteous; For I have rebelled against His command; Hear now, all peoples, And behold my pain; My virgins and my young men Have gone into captivity. Lam 1:18 The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity. (kjv) Lam.1:18 Der HERR ist gerecht; denn ich bin seinem Munde ungehorsam gewesen. Höret, alle Völker, schauet meinen Schmerz! Meine Jungfrauen und Jünglinge sind ins Gefängnis gegangen. Lam 1:18 δίκαιός ἐστιν κύριος ὅτι τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ παρεπίκρανα ἀκούσατε δή πάντες οἱ λαοί καὶ ἴδετε τὸ ἄλγος μου παρθένοι μου καὶ νεανίσκοι μου ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:19 "I called to my lovers, but they deceived me; My priests and my elders perished in the city While they sought food to restore their strength themselves. Lam 1:19 I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. (kjv) Lam.1:19 Ich rief meine Freunde an, aber sie haben mich betrogen. Meine Priester und Ältesten in der Stadt sind verschmachtet; denn sie gehen nach Brot, damit sie ihre Seele laben. Lam 1:19 ἐκάλεσα τοὺς ἐραστάς μου αὐτοὶ δὲ παρελογίσαντό με οἱ ἱερεῖς μου καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροί μου ἐν τῇ πόλει ἐξέλιπον ὅτι ἐζήτησαν βρῶσιν αὐτοῖς ἵνα ἐπιστρέψωσιν ψυχὰς αὐτῶν καὶ οὐχ εὗρον ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:20 "See, O Lord, for I am in distress; My spirit is greatly troubled; My heart is overturned within me, For I have been very rebellious. In the street the sword slays; In the house it is like death. Lam 1:20 Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death. (kjv) Lam.1:20 Ach Herr, siehe doch, wie bange ist mir, daß mir's im Leibe davon weh tut! Mein Herz wallt mir in meinem Leibe, weil ich so gar ungehorsam gewesen bin. Draußen hat mich das Schwert und im Hause hat mich der Tod zur Witwe gemacht. Lam 1:20 ἰδέ κύριε ὅτι θλίβομαι ἡ κοιλία μου ἐταράχθη καὶ ἡ καρδία μου ἐστράφη ἐν ἐμοί ὅτι παραπικραίνουσα παρεπίκρανα ἔξωθεν ἠτέκνωσέν με μάχαιρα ὥσπερ θάνατος ἐν οἴκῳ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:21 "They have heard that I groan; There is no one to comfort me; All my enemies have heard of my calamity; They are glad that You have done it. Oh, that You would bring the day which You have proclaimed, That they may become like me. Lam 1:21 They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. (kjv) Lam.1:21 Man hört's wohl, daß ich seufze, und habe doch keinen Tröster; alle meine Feinde hören mein Unglück und freuen sich; das machst du. So laß doch den Tag kommen, den du ausrufest, daß es ihnen gehen soll wie mir. Lam 1:21 ἀκούσατε δὴ ὅτι στενάζω ἐγώ οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ παρακαλῶν με πάντες οἱ ἐχθροί μου ἤκουσαν τὰ κακά μου καὶ ἐχάρησαν ὅτι σὺ ἐποίησας ἐπήγαγες ἡμέραν ἐκάλεσας καιρόν καὶ ἐγένοντο ὅμοιοι ἐμοί ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 1:22 "Let all their wickedness come before You; And deal with them as You have dealt with me For all my transgressions; For my groans are many and my heart is faint." Lam 1:22 εἰσέλθοι πᾶσα ἡ κακία αὐτῶν κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ ἐπιφύλλισον αὐτοῖς ὃν τρόπον ἐποίησαν ἐπιφυλλίδα περὶ πάντων τῶν ἁμαρτημάτων μου ὅτι πολλοὶ οἱ στεναγμοί μου καὶ ἡ καρδία μου λυπεῖται ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:1 How the Lord has covered the daughter of Zion With a cloud in His anger! He has cast from heaven to earth The glory of Israel, And has not remembered His footstool In the day of His anger. Lam 2:1 How hath the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger! (kjv) Lam.2:1 Wie hat der HERR die Tochter Zion mit seinem Zorn überschüttet! Er hat die Herrlichkeit Israels vom Himmel auf die Erde geworfen; er hat nicht gedacht an seinen Fußschemel am Tage seines Zorns. Lam 2:1 πῶς ἐγνόφωσεν ἐν ὀργῇ αὐτοῦ κύριος τὴν θυγατέρα Σιων κατέρριψεν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ εἰς γῆν δόξασμα Ισραηλ καὶ οὐκ ἐμνήσθη ὑποποδίου ποδῶν αὐτοῦ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:2 The Lord has swallowed up; He has not spared All the habitations of Jacob. In His wrath He has thrown down The strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He has brought them down to the ground; He has profaned the kingdom and its princes. Lam 2:2 The LORD hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof. (kjv) Lam.2:2 Der HERR hat alle Wohnungen Jakobs ohne Barmherzigkeit vertilgt; er hat die Festen der Tochter Juda abgebrochen in seinem Grimm und geschleift; er hat entweiht beide, ihr Königreich und ihre Fürsten. Lam 2:2 κατεπόντισεν κύριος οὐ φεισάμενος πάντα τὰ ὡραῖα Ιακωβ καθεῖλεν ἐν θυμῷ αὐτοῦ τὰ ὀχυρώματα τῆς θυγατρὸς Ιουδα ἐκόλλησεν εἰς τὴν γῆν ἐβεβήλωσεν βασιλέα αὐτῆς καὶ ἄρχοντας αὐτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:3 In fierce anger He has cut off All the strength of Israel; He has drawn back His right hand From before the enemy. And He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire Consuming round about. Lam 2:3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. (kjv) Lam.2:3 Er hat alle Hörner Israels in seinem grimmigen Zorn zerbrochen; er hat seine rechte Hand hinter sich gezogen, da der Feind kam, und hat in Jakob ein Feuer angesteckt, das umher verzehrt. Lam 2:3 συνέκλασεν ἐν ὀργῇ θυμοῦ αὐτοῦ πᾶν κέρας Ισραηλ ἀπέστρεψεν ὀπίσω δεξιὰν αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου ἐχθροῦ καὶ ἀνῆψεν ἐν Ιακωβ ὡς πῦρ φλόγα καὶ κατέφαγεν πάντα τὰ κύκλῳ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:4 He has bent His bow like an enemy; He has set His right hand like an adversary And slain all that were pleasant to the eye; In the tent of the daughter of Zion He has poured out His wrath like fire. Lam 2:4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire. (kjv) Lam.2:4 Er hat seinen Bogen gespannt wie ein Feind; seine rechte Hand hat er geführt wie ein Widersacher und hat erwürgt alles, was lieblich anzusehen war, und seinen Grimm wie ein Feuer ausgeschüttet in der Hütte der Tochter Zion. Lam 2:4 ἐνέτεινεν τόξον αὐτοῦ ὡς ἐχθρός ἐστερέωσεν δεξιὰν αὐτοῦ ὡς ὑπεναντίος καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν πάντα τὰ ἐπιθυμήματα ὀφθαλμῶν μου ἐν σκηνῇ θυγατρὸς Σιων ἐξέχεεν ὡς πῦρ τὸν θυμὸν αὐτοῦ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:5 The Lord has become like an enemy. He has swallowed up Israel; He has swallowed up all its palaces, He has destroyed its strongholds And multiplied in the daughter of Judah Mourning and moaning. Lam 2:5 The LORD was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation. (kjv) Lam.2:5 Der HERR ist gleich wie ein Feind; er hat vertilgt Israel; er hat vertilgt alle ihre Paläste und hat die Festen verderbt; er hat der Tochter Juda viel Klagens und Leides gemacht. Lam 2:5 ἐγενήθη κύριος ὡς ἐχθρός κατεπόντισεν Ισραηλ κατεπόντισεν πάσας τὰς βάρεις αὐτῆς διέφθειρεν τὰ ὀχυρώματα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπλήθυνεν τῇ θυγατρὶ Ιουδα ταπεινουμένην καὶ τεταπεινωμένην ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:6 And He has violently treated His tabernacle like a garden booth; He has destroyed His appointed meeting place. The Lord has caused to be forgotten The appointed feast and sabbath in Zion, And He has despised king and priest In the indignation of His anger. Lam 2:6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest. (kjv) Lam.2:6 Er hat sein Gezelt zerwühlt wie einen Garten und seine Wohnung verderbt; der HERR hat zu Zion Feiertag und Sabbat lassen vergessen und in seinem grimmigen Zorn König und Priester schänden lassen. Lam 2:6 καὶ διεπέτασεν ὡς ἄμπελον τὸ σκήνωμα αὐτοῦ διέφθειρεν ἑορτὴν αὐτοῦ ἐπελάθετο κύριος ὃ ἐποίησεν ἐν Σιων ἑορτῆς καὶ σαββάτου καὶ παρώξυνεν ἐμβριμήματι ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ βασιλέα καὶ ἱερέα καὶ ἄρχοντα ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:7 The Lord has rejected His altar, He has abandoned His sanctuary; He has delivered into the hand of the enemy The walls of her palaces. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord As in the day of an appointed feast. Lam 2:7 The LORD hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast. (kjv) Lam.2:7 Der HERR hat seinen Altar verworfen und sein Heiligtum entweiht; er hat die Mauern ihrer Paläste in des Feindes Hände gegeben, daß sie im Hause des Herrn geschrieen haben wie an einem Feiertag. Lam 2:7 ἀπώσατο κύριος θυσιαστήριον αὐτοῦ ἀπετίναξεν ἁγίασμα αὐτοῦ συνέτριψεν ἐν χειρὶ ἐχθροῦ τεῖχος βάρεων αὐτῆς φωνὴν ἔδωκαν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ὡς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ἑορτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:8 The Lord determined to destroy The wall of the daughter of Zion. He has stretched out a line, He has not restrained His hand from destroying, And He has caused rampart and wall to lament; They have languished together. Lam 2:8 The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together. (kjv) Lam.2:8 Der HERR hat gedacht zu verderben die Mauer der Tochter Zion; er hat die Richtschnur darübergezogen und seine Hand nicht abgewendet, bis er sie vertilgte; die Zwinger stehen kläglich, und die Mauer liegt jämmerlich. Lam 2:8 καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν κύριος τοῦ διαφθεῖραι τεῖχος θυγατρὸς Σιων ἐξέτεινεν μέτρον οὐκ ἀπέστρεψεν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ καταπατήματος καὶ ἐπένθησεν τὸ προτείχισμα καὶ τεῖχος ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἠσθένησεν ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:9 Her gates have sunk into the ground, He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the nations; The law is no more. Also, her prophets find No vision from the Lord. (kjv) Lam.2:9 Ihre Tore liegen tief in der Erde; er hat die Riegel zerbrochen und zunichte gemacht. Ihr König und ihre Fürsten sind unter den Heiden, wo sie das Gesetz nicht üben können und ihre Propheten kein Gesicht vom HERRN haben. Lam 2:9 ἐνεπάγησαν εἰς γῆν πύλαι αὐτῆς ἀπώλεσεν καὶ συνέτριψεν μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς βασιλέα αὐτῆς καὶ ἄρχοντας αὐτῆς ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οὐκ ἔστιν νόμος καί γε προφῆται αὐτῆς οὐκ εἶδον ὅρασιν παρὰ κυρίου ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:10 The elders of the daughter of Zion Sit on the ground, they are silent. They have thrown dust on their heads; They have girded themselves with sackcloth. The virgins of Jerusalem Have bowed their heads to the ground. Lam 2:10 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground. (kjv) Lam.2:10 Die Ältesten der Tochter Zion liegen auf der Erde und sind still; sie werfen Staub auf ihre Häupter und haben Säcke angezogen; die Jungfrauen von Jerusalem hängen ihr Häupter zur Erde. Lam 2:10 ἐκάθισαν εἰς τὴν γῆν ἐσιώπησαν πρεσβύτεροι θυγατρὸς Σιων ἀνεβίβασαν χοῦν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν περιεζώσαντο σάκκους κατήγαγον εἰς γῆν ἀρχηγοὺς παρθένους ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:11 My eyes fail because of tears, My spirit is greatly troubled; My heart is poured out on the earth Because of the destruction of the daughter of my people, When little ones and infants faint In the streets of the city. Lam 2:11 Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city. (kjv) Lam.2:11 Ich habe schier meine Augen ausgeweint, daß mir mein Leib davon wehe tut; meine Leber ist auf die Erde ausgeschüttet über den Jammer der Tochter meines Volkes, da die Säuglinge und Unmündigen auf den Gassen in der Stadt verschmachteten, Lam 2:11 ἐξέλιπον ἐν δάκρυσιν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου ἐταράχθη ἡ καρδία μου ἐξεχύθη εἰς γῆν ἡ δόξα μου ἐπὶ τὸ σύντριμμα τῆς θυγατρὸς τοῦ λαοῦ μου ἐν τῷ ἐκλιπεῖν νήπιον καὶ θηλάζοντα ἐν πλατείαις πόλεως ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:12 They say to their mothers, "Where is grain and wine?" As they faint like a wounded man In the streets of the city, As their life is poured out On their mothers' bosom. Lam 2:12 They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom. (kjv) Lam.2:12 da sie so zu ihren Müttern sprachen: Wo ist Brot und Wein? da sie auf den Gassen in der Stadt verschmachteten wie die tödlich Verwundeten und in den Armen ihrer Mütter den Geist aufgaben. Lam 2:12 ταῖς μητράσιν αὐτῶν εἶπαν ποῦ σῖτος καὶ οἶνος ἐν τῷ ἐκλύεσθαι αὐτοὺς ὡς τραυματίας ἐν πλατείαις πόλεως ἐν τῷ ἐκχεῖσθαι ψυχὰς αὐτῶν εἰς κόλπον μητέρων αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:13 How shall I admonish you? To what shall I compare you, O daughter of Jerusalem? To what shall I liken you as I comfort you, O virgin daughter of Zion? For your ruin is as vast as the sea; Who can heal you? Lam 2:13 What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee? (kjv) Lam.2:13 Ach du Tochter Jerusalem, wem soll ich dich vergleichen, und wofür soll ich dich rechnen? Du Jungfrau Tochter Zion, wem soll ich dich vergleichen, damit ich dich trösten möchte? Denn dein Schaden ist groß wie ein Meer; wer kann dich heilen? Lam 2:13 τί μαρτυρήσω σοι ἢ τί ὁμοιώσω σοι θύγατερ Ιερουσαλημ τίς σώσει σε καὶ παρακαλέσει σε παρθένος θύγατερ Σιων ὅτι ἐμεγαλύνθη ποτήριον συντριβῆς σου τίς ἰάσεταί σε ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:14 Your prophets have seen for you False and foolish visions; And they have not exposed your iniquity So as to restore you from captivity, But they have seen for you false and misleading oracles. Lam 2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. (kjv) Lam.2:14 Deine Propheten haben dir lose und törichte Gesichte gepredigt und dir deine Missetat nicht geoffenbart, damit sie dein Gefängnis abgewandt hätten, sondern haben dir gepredigt lose Predigt, damit sie dich zum Lande hinaus predigten. Lam 2:14 προφῆταί σου εἴδοσάν σοι μάταια καὶ ἀφροσύνην καὶ οὐκ ἀπεκάλυψαν ἐπὶ τὴν ἀδικίαν σου τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι αἰχμαλωσίαν σου καὶ εἴδοσάν σοι λήμματα μάταια καὶ ἐξώσματα ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:15 All who pass along the way Clap their hands in derision at you; They hiss and shake their heads At the daughter of Jerusalem, "Is this the city of which they said, 'The perfection of beauty, A joy to all the earth'?" Lam 2:15 All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? Lam 2:15 ἐκρότησαν ἐπὶ σὲ χεῖρας πάντες οἱ παραπορευόμενοι ὁδόν ἐσύρισαν καὶ ἐκίνησαν τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν θυγατέρα Ιερουσαλημ ἦ αὕτη ἡ πόλις ἣν ἐροῦσιν στέφανος δόξης εὐφροσύνη πάσης τῆς γῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:16 All your enemies Have opened their mouths wide against you; They hiss and gnash their teeth. They say, "We have swallowed her up! Surely this is the day for which we waited; We have reached it, we have seen it." He has thrown down without sparing, And He has caused the enemy to rejoice over you; He has exalted the might of your adversaries. Lam 2:17 ἐποίησεν κύριος ἃ ἐνεθυμήθη συνετέλεσεν ῥήματα αὐτοῦ ἃ ἐνετείλατο ἐξ ἡμερῶν ἀρχαίων καθεῖλεν καὶ οὐκ ἐφείσατο καὶ ηὔφρανεν ἐπὶ σὲ ἐχθρόν ὕψωσεν κέρας θλίβοντός σε ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:18 Their heart cried out to the Lord, "O wall of the daughter of Zion, Let your tears run down like a river day and night; Give yourself no relief, Let your eyes have no rest. (kjv) Lam.2:18 Ihr Herz schrie zum HERRN. O du Mauer der Tochter Zion, laß Tag und Nacht Tränen herabfließen wie einen Bach; höre nicht auf, und dein Augapfel lasse nicht ab. Lam 2:18 ἐβόησεν καρδία αὐτῶν πρὸς κύριον τείχη Σιων καταγάγετε ὡς χειμάρρους δάκρυα ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός μὴ δῷς ἔκνηψιν σεαυτῇ μὴ σιωπήσαιτο θύγατερ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:19 "Arise, cry aloud in the night At the beginning of the night watches; Pour out your heart like water Before the presence of the Lord; Lift up your hands to Him For the life of your little ones Who are faint because of hunger At the head of every street." Lam 2:19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the LORD: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street. (kjv) Lam.2:19 Stehe des Nachts auf und schreie; schütte dein Herz aus in der ersten Wache gegen den HERRN wie Wasser; hebe deine Hände gegen ihn auf um der Seelen willen deiner jungen Kinder, die vor Hunger verschmachten vorn an allen Gassen! Lam 2:19 ἀνάστα ἀγαλλίασαι ἐν νυκτὶ εἰς ἀρχὰς φυλακῆς σου ἔκχεον ὡς ὕδωρ καρδίαν σου ἀπέναντι προσώπου κυρίου ἆρον πρὸς αὐτὸν χεῖράς σου περὶ ψυχῆς νηπίων σου τῶν ἐκλυομένων λιμῷ ἐπ᾽ ἀρχῆς πασῶν ἐξόδων ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:20 See, O Lord, and look! With whom have You dealt thus? Should women eat their offspring, The little ones who were born healthy? Should priest and prophet be slain In the sanctuary of the Lord? Lam 2:20 Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? (kjv) Lam.2:20 HERR, schaue und siehe doch, wen du so verderbt hast! Sollen denn die Weiber ihres Leibes Frucht essen, die Kindlein, so man auf Händen trägt? Sollen denn Propheten und Priester in dem Heiligtum des HERRN erwürgt werden? Lam 2:20 ἰδέ κύριε καὶ ἐπίβλεψον τίνι ἐπεφύλλισας οὕτως εἰ φάγονται γυναῖκες καρπὸν κοιλίας αὐτῶν ἐπιφυλλίδα ἐποίησεν μάγειρος φονευθήσονται νήπια θηλάζοντα μαστούς ἀποκτενεῖς ἐν ἁγιάσματι κυρίου ἱερέα καὶ προφήτην ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:21 On the ground in the streets Lie young and old; My virgins and my young men Have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of Your anger, You have slaughtered, not sparing. Lam 2:21 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied. (kjv) Lam.2:21 Es lagen in den Gassen auf der Erde Knaben und Alte; meine Jungfrauen und Jünglinge sind durchs Schwert gefallen. Du hast erwürgt am Tage deines Zorns; du hast ohne Barmherzigkeit geschlachtet. Lam 2:21 ἐκοιμήθησαν εἰς τὴν ἔξοδον παιδάριον καὶ πρεσβύτης παρθένοι μου καὶ νεανίσκοι μου ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ καὶ ἐν λιμῷ ἀπέκτεινας ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς σου ἐμαγείρευσας οὐκ ἐφείσω ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 2:22 You called as in the day of an appointed feast My terrors on every side; And there was no one who escaped or survived In the day of the Lord's anger. Those whom I bore and reared, My enemy annihilated them. Lam 2:22 Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD's anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.(kjv) Lam.2:22 Du hast meine Feinde umher gerufen wie auf einen Feiertag, daß niemand am Tage des Zorns des HERRN entronnen oder übriggeblieben ist. Die ich auf den Händen getragen und erzogen habe, die hat der Feind umgebracht. Lam 2:22 ἐκάλεσεν ἡμέραν ἑορτῆς παροικίας μου κυκλόθεν καὶ οὐκ ἐγένοντο ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς κυρίου ἀνασῳζόμενος καὶ καταλελειμμένος ὡς ἐπεκράτησα καὶ ἐπλήθυνα ἐχθρούς μου πάντας ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 3:1 I am the man who has seen affliction Because of the rod of His wrath. Lam 3:2 παρέλαβέν με καὶ ἀπήγαγεν εἰς σκότος καὶ οὐ φῶς ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 3:3 Surely against me He has turned His hand Repeatedly all the day. Lam 3:3 Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day. (kjv) Lam.3:3 Er hat seine Hand gewendet wider mich und handelt gar anders mit mir für und für. Lam 3:3 πλὴν ἐν ἐμοὶ ἐπέστρεψεν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 3:4 He has caused my flesh and my skin to waste away, He has broken my bones. Lam 3:4 My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones. (kjv) Lam.3:4 Er hat mir Fleisch und Haut alt gemacht und mein Gebein zerschlagen. Lam 3:4 ἐπαλαίωσεν σάρκας μου καὶ δέρμα μου ὀστέα μου συνέτριψεν ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 3:5 He has besieged and encompassed me with bitterness and hardship. Lam 3:5 He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. (kjv) Lam.3:5 Er hat mich verbaut und mich mit Galle und Mühe umgeben. Lam 3:5 ἀνῳκοδόμησεν κατ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐκύκλωσεν κεφαλήν μου καὶ ἐμόχθησεν ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 3:6 In dark places He has made me dwell, Like those who have long been dead. Lam 3:6 He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old. (kjv) Lam.3:6 Er hat mich in Finsternis gelegt wie die, so längst tot sind. Lam 3:6 ἐν σκοτεινοῖς ἐκάθισέν με ὡς νεκροὺς αἰῶνος ------------------------------------------------------ Lam 3:7 He has walled me in so that I cannot go out; He has made my chain heavy. But He will punish your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He will expose your sins!
