Has anything like this happened in your days Or in your fathers' days? Joe 1:2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? (kjv) Joe 1:2 Höret dies, ihr Ältesten, und merket auf alle Einwohner im Lande, ob solches geschehen sei zu euren Zeiten oder zu eurer Väter Zeiten! Joe 1:2 ἀκούσατε δὴ ταῦτα οἱ πρεσβύτεροι καὶ ἐνωτίσασθε πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν γῆν εἰ γέγονεν τοιαῦτα ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ὑμῶν ἢ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:3 Tell your sons about it, And let your sons tell their sons, And their sons the next generation. Joe 1:3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. Joe 1:3 ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν τοῖς τέκνοις ὑμῶν διηγήσασθε καὶ τὰ τέκνα ὑμῶν τοῖς τέκνοις αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν εἰς γενεὰν ἑτέραν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:4 What the gnawing locust has left, the swarming locust has eaten; And what the swarming locust has left, the creeping locust has eaten; And what the creeping locust has left, the stripping locust has eaten. Joe 1:4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. Joe 1:4 τὰ κατάλοιπα τῆς κάμπης κατέφαγεν ἡ ἀκρίς καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα τῆς ἀκρίδος κατέφαγεν ὁ βροῦχος καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα τοῦ βρούχου κατέφαγεν ἡ ἐρυσίβη ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:5 Awake, drunkards, and weep; And wail, all you wine drinkers, On account of the sweet wine That is cut off from your mouth. Joe 1:5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. (kjv) Joe 1:5 Wachet auf, ihr Trunkenen, und weinet, und heulet, alle Weinsäufer, um den Most; denn er ist euch vor eurem Maul weggenommen. Joe 1:5 ἐκνήψατε οἱ μεθύοντες ἐξ οἴνου αὐτῶν καὶ κλαύσατε θρηνήσατε πάντες οἱ πίνοντες οἶνον εἰς μέθην ὅτι ἐξῆρται ἐκ στόματος ὑμῶν εὐφροσύνη καὶ χαρά ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:6 For a nation has invaded my land, Mighty and without number; Its teeth are the teeth of a lion, And it has the fangs of a lioness. Joe 1:6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. (kjv) Joe 1:6 Denn es zieht herauf in mein Land ein mächtiges Volk und ohne Zahl; das hat Zähne wie Löwen und Backenzähne wie Löwinnen. Joe 1:6 ὅτι ἔθνος ἀνέβη ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν μου ἰσχυρὸν καὶ ἀναρίθμητον οἱ ὀδόντες αὐτοῦ ὀδόντες λέοντος καὶ αἱ μύλαι αὐτοῦ σκύμνου ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:7 It has made my vine a waste And my fig tree splinters. It has stripped them bare and cast them away; Their branches have become white. Joe 1:7 He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white. (kjv) Joe 1:7 Das verwüstet meinen Weinberg und streift meinen Feigenbaum ab, schält ihn und verwirft ihn, daß seine Zweige weiß dastehen. Joe 1:7 ἔθετο τὴν ἄμπελόν μου εἰς ἀφανισμὸν καὶ τὰς συκᾶς μου εἰς συγκλασμόν ἐρευνῶν ἐξηρεύνησεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔρριψεν ἐλεύκανεν κλήματα αὐτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:8 Wail like a virgin girded with sackcloth For the bridegroom of her youth. Joe 1:8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. (kjv) Joe 1:8 Heule wie eine Jungfrau die einen Sack anlegt um ihren Bräutigam! Joe 1:8 θρήνησον πρός με ὑπὲρ νύμφην περιεζωσμένην σάκκον ἐπὶ τὸν ἄνδρα αὐτῆς τὸν παρθενικόν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:9 The grain offering and the drink offering are cut off From the house of the Lord. The priests mourn, The ministers of the Lord. Joe 1:9 The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn. (kjv) Joe 1:9 Denn das Speisopfer und Trankopfer ist vom Hause des HERRN weg, und die Priester, des HERRN Diener, trauern. Joe 1:9 ἐξῆρται θυσία καὶ σπονδὴ ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου πενθεῖτε οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ λειτουργοῦντες θυσιαστηρίῳ ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:10 The field is ruined, The land mourns; For the grain is ruined, The new wine dries up, Fresh oil fails. Joe 1:10 The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. (kjv) Joe 1:10 Das Feld ist verwüstet, und der Acker steht jämmerlich; das Getreide ist verdorben, der Wein steht jämmerlich und das Öl kläglich. Joe 1:10 ὅτι τεταλαιπώρηκεν τὰ πεδία πενθείτω ἡ γῆ ὅτι τεταλαιπώρηκεν σῖτος ἐξηράνθη οἶνος ὠλιγώθη ἔλαιον ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:11 Be ashamed, O farmers, Wail, O vinedressers, For the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field is destroyed. Joe 1:11 Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. (kjv) Joe 1:11 Die Ackerleute sehen jämmerlich, und die Weingärtner heulen um den Weizen und die Gerste, daß aus der Ernte auf dem Felde nichts werden kann. Joe 1:11 ἐξηράνθησαν οἱ γεωργοί θρηνεῖτε κτήματα ὑπὲρ πυροῦ καὶ κριθῆς ὅτι ἀπόλωλεν τρυγητὸς ἐξ ἀγροῦ ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:12 The vine dries up And the fig tree fails; The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree, All the trees of the field dry up. Indeed, rejoicing dries up From the sons of men. Joe 1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. (kjv) Joe 1:12 So steht der Weinstock auch jämmerlich und der Feigenbaum kläglich; dazu die Granatbäume, Palmbäume, Apfelbäume und alle Bäume auf dem Felde sind verdorrt; denn die Freude der Menschen ist zu Jammer geworden. Joe 1:12 ἡ ἄμπελος ἐξηράνθη καὶ αἱ συκαῖ ὠλιγώθησαν ῥόα καὶ φοῖνιξ καὶ μῆλον καὶ πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ ἀγροῦ ἐξηράνθησαν ὅτι ᾔσχυναν χαρὰν οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:13 Gird yourselves with sackcloth And lament, O priests; Wail, O ministers of the altar! Come, spend the night in sackcloth O ministers of my God, For the grain offering and the drink offering Are withheld from the house of your God. Joe 1:13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. (kjv) Joe 1:13 Begürtet euch nun und klaget, ihr Priester; heulet, ihr Diener des Altars; gehet hinein und lieget in Säcken, ihr Diener meines Gottes! denn es ist Speisopfer und Trankopfer vom Hause eures Gottes weg. Joe 1:13 περιζώσασθε καὶ κόπτεσθε οἱ ἱερεῖς θρηνεῖτε οἱ λειτουργοῦντες θυσιαστηρίῳ εἰσέλθατε ὑπνώσατε ἐν σάκκοις λειτουργοῦντες θεῷ ὅτι ἀπέσχηκεν ἐξ οἴκου θεοῦ ὑμῶν θυσία καὶ σπονδή ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:14 Consecrate a fast, Proclaim a solemn assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land To the house of the Lord your God, And cry out to the Lord. Joe 1:14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, (kjv) Joe 1:14 Heiliget ein Fasten, rufet die Gemeinde zusammen; versammelt die Ältesten und alle Einwohner des Landes zum Hause des HERRN, eures Gottes, und schreit zum HERRN! Joe 1:14 ἁγιάσατε νηστείαν κηρύξατε θεραπείαν συναγάγετε πρεσβυτέρους πάντας κατοικοῦντας γῆν εἰς οἶκον θεοῦ ὑμῶν καὶ κεκράξατε πρὸς κύριον ἐκτενῶς ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:15 Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, And it will come as destruction from the Almighty. Joe 1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. (kjv) Joe 1:15 O weh des Tages! denn der Tag des HERRN ist nahe und kommt wie ein Verderben vom Allmächtigen. Joe 1:15 οἴμμοι οἴμμοι οἴμμοι εἰς ἡμέραν ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡμέρα κυρίου καὶ ὡς ταλαιπωρία ἐκ ταλαιπωρίας ἥξει ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:16 Has not food been cut off before our eyes, Gladness and joy from the house of our God? Joe 1:16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God? (kjv) Joe 1:16 Ist nicht die Speise vor unsern Augen weggenommen und vom Hause unsers Gottes Freude und Wonne? Joe 1:16 κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν ὑμῶν βρώματα ἐξωλεθρεύθη ἐξ οἴκου θεοῦ ὑμῶν εὐφροσύνη καὶ χαρά ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:17 The seeds shrivel under their clods; The storehouses are desolate, The barns are torn down, For the grain is dried up. Joe 1:17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. (kjv) Joe 1:17 Der Same ist unter der Erde verfault, die Kornhäuser stehen wüst, die Scheunen zerfallen; denn das Getreide ist verdorben. Joe 1:17 ἐσκίρτησαν δαμάλεις ἐπὶ ταῖς φάτναις αὐτῶν ἠφανίσθησαν θησαυροί κατεσκάφησαν ληνοί ὅτι ἐξηράνθη σῖτος ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:18 How the beasts groan! The herds of cattle wander aimlessly Because there is no pasture for them; Even the flocks of sheep suffer. Joe 1:18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. (kjv) Joe 1:18 O wie seufzt das Vieh! Die Rinder sehen kläglich, denn sie haben keine Weide, und die Schafe verschmachten. Joe 1:18 τί ἀποθήσομεν ἑαυτοῖς ἔκλαυσαν βουκόλια βοῶν ὅτι οὐχ ὑπῆρχεν νομὴ αὐτοῖς καὶ τὰ ποίμνια τῶν προβάτων ἠφανίσθησαν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:19 To You, O Lord, I cry; For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness And the flame has burned up all the trees of the field. Joe 1:19 O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. (kjv) Joe 1:19 HERR, dich rufe ich an; denn das Feuer hat die Auen in der Wüste verbrannt, und die Flamme hat alle Bäume auf dem Acker angezündet. Joe 1:19 πρὸς σέ κύριε βοήσομαι ὅτι πῦρ ἀνήλωσεν τὰ ὡραῖα τῆς ἐρήμου καὶ φλὸξ ἀνῆψεν πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ ἀγροῦ ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 1:20 Even the beasts of the field pant for You; For the water brooks are dried up And fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness. Joe 1:20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.(kjv) Joe 1:20 Es schrieen auch die wilden Tiere zu dir; denn die Wasserbäche sind ausgetrocknet, und das Feuer hat die Auen in der Wüste verbrannt. Joe 1:20 καὶ τὰ κτήνη τοῦ πεδίου ἀνέβλεψαν πρὸς σέ ὅτι ἐξηράνθησαν ἀφέσεις ὑδάτων καὶ πῦρ κατέφαγεν τὰ ὡραῖα τῆς ἐρήμου ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:1 Blow a trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, For the day of the Lord is coming; Surely it is near, Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; (kjv) Joe 2:1 Blaset mit der Posaune zu Zion, rufet auf meinem heiligen Berge; erzittert, alle Einwohner im Lande! denn der Tag des HERRN kommt und ist nahe: Joe 2:1 σαλπίσατε σάλπιγγι ἐν Σιων κηρύξατε ἐν ὄρει ἁγίῳ μου καὶ συγχυθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν γῆν διότι πάρεστιν ἡμέρα κυρίου ὅτι ἐγγύς ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness. As the dawn is spread over the mountains, So there is a great and mighty people; There has never been anything like it, Nor will there be again after it To the years of many generations. Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. (kjv) Joe 2:2 Ein finstrer Tag, ein dunkler Tag, ein wolkiger Tag, ein nebliger Tag; gleichwie sich die Morgenröte ausbreitet über die Berge, kommt ein großes und mächtiges Volk, desgleichen vormals nicht gewesen ist und hinfort nicht sein wird zu ewigen Zeiten für und für. Joe 2:2 ἡμέρα σκότους καὶ γνόφου ἡμέρα νεφέλης καὶ ὁμίχλης ὡς ὄρθρος χυθήσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη λαὸς πολὺς καὶ ἰσχυρός ὅμοιος αὐτῷ οὐ γέγονεν ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτὸν οὐ προστεθήσεται ἕως ἐτῶν εἰς γενεὰς γενεῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:3 A fire consumes before them And behind them a flame burns. The land is like the garden of Eden before them But a desolate wilderness behind them, And nothing at all escapes them. Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. (kjv) Joe 2:3 Vor ihm her geht ein verzehrend Feuer und nach ihm eine brennende Flamme. Das Land ist vor ihm wie ein Lustgarten, aber nach ihm wie eine wüste Einöde, und niemand wird ihm entgehen. Joe 2:3 τὰ ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ πῦρ ἀναλίσκον καὶ τὰ ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ ἀναπτομένη φλόξ ὡς παράδεισος τρυφῆς ἡ γῆ πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ὄπισθεν αὐτοῦ πεδίον ἀφανισμοῦ καὶ ἀνασῳζόμενος οὐκ ἔσται αὐτῷ ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like war horses, so they run. Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. (kjv) Joe 2:4 Sie sind gestaltet wie Rosse und rennen wie die Reiter. Joe 2:4 ὡς ὅρασις ἵππων ἡ ὄψις αὐτῶν καὶ ὡς ἱππεῖς οὕτως καταδιώξονται ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:5 With a noise as of chariots They leap on the tops of the mountains, Like the crackling of a flame of fire consuming the stubble, Like a mighty people arranged for battle. Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. (kjv) Joe 2:5 Sie sprengen daher oben auf den Bergen, wie die Wagen rasseln, und wie eine Flamme lodert im Stroh, wie ein mächtiges Volk, das zum Streit gerüstet ist. Joe 2:5 ὡς φωνὴ ἁρμάτων ἐπὶ τὰς κορυφὰς τῶν ὀρέων ἐξαλοῦνται καὶ ὡς φωνὴ φλογὸς πυρὸς κατεσθιούσης καλάμην καὶ ὡς λαὸς πολὺς καὶ ἰσχυρὸς παρατασσόμενος εἰς πόλεμον ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:6 Before them the people are in anguish; All faces turn pale. Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. (kjv) Joe 2:6 Die Völker werden sich vor ihm entsetzen, aller Angesichter werden bleich. Joe 2:6 ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ συντριβήσονται λαοί πᾶν πρόσωπον ὡς πρόσκαυμα χύτρας ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:7 They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like soldiers; And they each march in line, Nor do they deviate from their paths. Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: (kjv) Joe 2:7 Sie werden laufen wie die Riesen und die Mauern ersteigen wie die Krieger; ein jeglicher wird stracks vor sich daherziehen und sich nicht säumen. Joe 2:7 ὡς μαχηταὶ δραμοῦνται καὶ ὡς ἄνδρες πολεμισταὶ ἀναβήσονται ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη καὶ ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ αὐτοῦ πορεύσεται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐκκλίνωσιν τὰς τρίβους αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:8 They do not crowd each other, They march everyone in his path; When they burst through the defenses, They do not break ranks. Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. (kjv) Joe 2:8 Keiner wird den andern irren; sondern ein jeglicher wird in seiner Ordnung daherfahren und werden durch die Waffen brechen und nicht verwundet werden. Joe 2:8 καὶ ἕκαστος ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἀφέξεται καταβαρυνόμενοι ἐν τοῖς ὅπλοις αὐτῶν πορεύσονται καὶ ἐν τοῖς βέλεσιν αὐτῶν πεσοῦνται καὶ οὐ μὴ συντελεσθῶσιν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:9 They rush on the city, They run on the wall; They climb into the houses, They enter through the windows like a thief. Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. (kjv) Joe 2:9 Sie werden in der Stadt umherrennen, auf der Mauer laufen und in die Häuser steigen und wie ein Dieb durch die Fenster hineinkommen. Joe 2:9 τῆς πόλεως ἐπιλήμψονται καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν τειχέων δραμοῦνται καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς οἰκίας ἀναβήσονται καὶ διὰ θυρίδων εἰσελεύσονται ὡς κλέπται ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:10 Before them the earth quakes, The heavens tremble, The sun and the moon grow dark And the stars lose their brightness. Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: (kjv) Joe 2:10 Vor ihm zittert das ganze Land und bebt der Himmel; Sonne und Mond werden finster, und die Sterne verhalten ihren Schein. Joe 2:10 πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν συγχυθήσεται ἡ γῆ καὶ σεισθήσεται ὁ οὐρανός ὁ ἥλιος καὶ ἡ σελήνη συσκοτάσουσιν καὶ τὰ ἄστρα δύσουσιν τὸ φέγγος αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 2:11 The Lord utters His voice before His army; Surely His camp is very great, For strong is he who carries out His word. The day of the Lord is indeed great and very awesome, And who can endure it? Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? (kjv) Joe 2:11 Denn der HERR wird seinen Donner vor seinem Heer lassen her gehen; denn sein Heer ist sehr groß und mächtig, das seinen Befehl wird ausrichten; denn der Tag des HERRN ist groß und sehr erschrecklich: wer kann ihn leiden? And its stench will arise and its foul smell will come up, For it has done great things." And He has poured down for you the rain, The early and latter rain as before. But the Lord is a refuge for His people And a stronghold to the sons of Israel. (kjv) Joe 3:16 Und der HERR wird aus Zion brüllen und aus Jerusalem seine Stimme lassen hören, daß Himmel und Erde beben wird. Aber der HERR wird seinem Volk eine Zuflucht sein und eine Feste den Kindern Israel. Joe 3:16 ὁ δὲ κύριος ἐκ Σιων ἀνακεκράξεται καὶ ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ δώσει φωνὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ σεισθήσεται ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ ὁ δὲ κύριος φείσεται τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνισχύσει κύριος τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 3:17 Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. So Jerusalem will be holy, And strangers will pass through it no more. (kjv) Joe 3:17 Und ihr sollt es erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, euer Gott, zu Zion auf meinem heiligen Berge wohne. Alsdann wird Jerusalem heilig sein und kein Fremder mehr durch sie wandeln. Joe 3:17 καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ κατασκηνῶν ἐν Σιων ἐν ὄρει ἁγίῳ μου καὶ ἔσται Ιερουσαλημ πόλις ἁγία καὶ ἀλλογενεῖς οὐ διελεύσονται δι᾽ αὐτῆς οὐκέτι ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 3:18 And in that day The mountains will drip with sweet wine, And the hills will flow with milk, And all the brooks of Judah will flow with water; And a spring will go out from the house of the Lord To water the valley of Shittim. Joe 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim. (kjv) Joe 3:18 Zur selben Zeit werden die Berge von süßem Wein triefen und die Hügel von Milch fließen, und alle Bäche in Juda werden voll Wasser gehen; und wird eine Quelle vom Hause des HERRN herausgehen, die wird das Tal Sittim wässern. Joe 3:18 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀποσταλάξει τὰ ὄρη γλυκασμόν καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ ῥυήσονται γάλα καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἀφέσεις Ιουδα ῥυήσονται ὕδατα καὶ πηγὴ ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου ἐξελεύσεται καὶ ποτιεῖ τὸν χειμάρρουν τῶν σχοίνων ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 3:19 Egypt will become a waste, And Edom will become a desolate wilderness, Because of the violence done to the sons of Judah, In whose land they have shed innocent blood. Joe 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. (kjv) Joe 3:19 Aber Ägypten soll wüst werden und Edom eine wüste Einöde um den Frevel, an den Kindern Juda begangen, daß sie unschuldig Blut in ihrem Lande vergossen haben. Joe 3:19 Αἴγυπτος εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἔσται καὶ ἡ Ιδουμαία εἰς πεδίον ἀφανισμοῦ ἔσται ἐξ ἀδικιῶν υἱῶν Ιουδα ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐξέχεαν αἷμα δίκαιον ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Joe 3:20 But Judah will be inhabited forever And Jerusalem for all generations.
