Amo 1:2 And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. Amo 1:3 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: (kjv) Amo 1:3 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Damasker will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie Gilead mit eisernen Zacken gedroschen haben; Amo 1:3 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Δαμασκοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἔπριζον πρίοσιν σιδηροῖς τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας τῶν ἐν Γαλααδ ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:4 "So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael And it will consume the citadels of Ben-hadad. Amo 1:4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. (kjv) Amo 1:4 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken in das Haus Hasaels, das soll die Paläste Benhadads verzehren. Amo 1:4 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς τὸν οἶκον Αζαηλ καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια υἱοῦ Αδερ ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:5 "I will also break the gate bar of Damascus, And cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, And him who holds the scepter, from Beth-eden; So the people of Aram will go exiled to Kir," Says the Lord. Amo 1:5 I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD. (kjv) Amo 1:5 Und ich will die Riegel zu Damaskus zerbrechen und die Einwohner auf dem Felde Aven samt dem, der das Zepter hält, aus dem Lusthause ausrotten, daß das Volk in Syrien soll gen Kir weggeführt werden, spricht der HERR. Amo 1:7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof: (kjv) Amo 1:7 sondern ich will ein Feuer in die Mauern zu Gaza schicken, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren. Amo 1:7 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη Γάζης καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια αὐτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:8 "I will also cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And him who holds the scepter, from Ashkelon; I will even unleash My power upon Ekron, And the remnant of the Philistines will perish," Says the Lord God. Amo 1:8 And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD. (kjv) Amo 1:8 Und ich will die Einwohner aus Asdod und den, der das Zepter hält, aus Askalon ausrotten und meine Hand wider Ekron kehren, daß umkommen soll, was von den Philistern noch übrig ist, spricht der HERR HERR. Amo 1:11 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever: (kjv) Amo 1:11 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Edoms will ich sein nicht schonen, darum daß er seinen Bruder mit dem Schwert verfolgt hat und daß er alles Erbarmen von sich getan und immer wütet in seinem Zorn und seinem Grimm ewig hält; Amo 1:11 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις τῆς Ιδουμαίας καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτούς ἕνεκα τοῦ διῶξαι αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐλυμήνατο μήτραν ἐπὶ γῆς καὶ ἥρπασεν εἰς μαρτύριον φρίκην αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ ὅρμημα αὐτοῦ ἐφύλαξεν εἰς νεῖκος ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:12 "So I will send fire upon Teman And it will consume the citadels of Bozrah." Amo 1:12 But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah. (kjv) Amo 1:12 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken gen Theman, das soll die Paläste zu Bozra verzehren. Amo 1:12 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς Θαιμαν καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια τειχέων αὐτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:13 Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of the sons of Ammon and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead In order to enlarge their borders. Amo 1:13 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: (kjv) Amo 1:13 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen der Kinder Ammon will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Schwangeren in Gilead zerrissen haben, damit sie ihre Grenze weiter machten; Amo 1:13 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις υἱῶν Αμμων καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἀνέσχιζον τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας τῶν Γαλααδιτῶν ὅπως ἐμπλατύνωσιν τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:14 "So I will kindle a fire on the wall of Rabbah And it will consume her citadels Amid war cries on the day of battle, And a storm on the day of tempest. Amo 1:14 But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind: (kjv) Amo 1:14 sondern ich will ein Feuer anzünden in den Mauern Rabbas, das soll ihre Paläste verzehren, wenn man rufen wird zur Zeit des Streits und wenn das Wetter kommen wird zur Zeit des Sturms. Amo 1:14 καὶ ἀνάψω πῦρ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη Ραββα καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια αὐτῆς μετὰ κραυγῆς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πολέμου καὶ σεισθήσεται ἐν ἡμέρᾳ συντελείας αὐτῆς ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 1:15 "Their king will go into exile, He and his princes together," says the Lord. Amo 2:1 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime: (kjv) Amo 2:1 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Moabs will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gebeine des Königs zu Edom haben zu Asche verbrannt; Amo 2:1 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Μωαβ καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν κατέκαυσαν τὰ ὀστᾶ βασιλέως τῆς Ιδουμαίας εἰς κονίαν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:2 "So I will send fire upon Moab And it will consume the citadels of Kerioth; And Moab will die amid tumult, With war cries and the sound of a trumpet. Amo 2:2 But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet: (kjv) Amo 2:2 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken nach Moab, das soll die Paläste zu Karioth verzehren; und Moab soll sterben im Getümmel und Geschrei und Posaunenhall. Amo 2:2 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ Μωαβ καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια τῶν πόλεων αὐτῆς καὶ ἀποθανεῖται ἐν ἀδυναμίᾳ Μωαβ μετὰ κραυγῆς καὶ μετὰ φωνῆς σάλπιγγος ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:3 "I will also cut off the judge from her midst And slay all her princes with him," says the Lord. Amo 2:3 καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω κριτὴν ἐξ αὐτῆς καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτῆς ἀποκτενῶ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ λέγει κύριος ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:4 Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of Judah and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they rejected the law of the Lord And have not kept His statutes; Their lies also have led them astray, Those after which their fathers walked. Amo 2:4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked: (kjv) Amo 2:4 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Juda's will ich sein nicht schonen, darum daß sie des HERRN Gesetz verachten und seine Rechte nicht halten und lassen sich ihre Lügen verführen, welchen ihre Väter nachgefolgt sind; Amo 2:4 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἕνεκα τοῦ ἀπώσασθαι αὐτοὺς τὸν νόμον κυρίου καὶ τὰ προστάγματα αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐφυλάξαντο καὶ ἐπλάνησεν αὐτοὺς τὰ μάταια αὐτῶν ἃ ἐποίησαν οἷς ἐξηκολούθησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:5 "So I will send fire upon Judah And it will consume the citadels of Jerusalem." Amo 2:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; (kjv) Amo 2:6 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Israels will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gerechten um Geld und die Armen um ein Paar Schuhe verkaufen. Amo 2:6 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἀπέδοντο ἀργυρίου δίκαιον καὶ πένητα ἕνεκεν ὑποδημάτων ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:7 "These who pant after the very dust of the earth on the head of the helpless Also turn aside the way of the humble; And a man and his father resort to the same girl In order to profane My holy name. Amo 2:7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name: (kjv) Amo 2:7 Sie treten den Kopf der Armen in den Kot und hindern den Weg der Elenden. Es geht Sohn und Vater zur Dirne, daß sie meinen heiligen Namen entheiligen. Amo 2:7 τὰ πατοῦντα ἐπὶ τὸν χοῦν τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐκονδύλιζον εἰς κεφαλὰς πτωχῶν καὶ ὁδὸν ταπεινῶν ἐξέκλιναν καὶ υἱὸς καὶ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ εἰσεπορεύοντο πρὸς τὴν αὐτὴν παιδίσκην ὅπως βεβηλώσωσιν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:8 "On garments taken as pledges they stretch out beside every altar, And in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined. Amo 2:8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god. (kjv) Amo 2:8 Und bei allen Altären schlemmen sie auf den verpfändeten Kleidern und trinken Wein in ihrer Götter Hause von den Gebüßten. Amo 2:8 καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν δεσμεύοντες σχοινίοις παραπετάσματα ἐποίουν ἐχόμενα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ οἶνον ἐκ συκοφαντιῶν ἔπινον ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:9 "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Though his height was like the height of cedars And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below. Amo 2:9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. (kjv) Amo 2:9 Und ich habe doch den Amoriter vor ihnen her vertilgt, der so hoch war wie die Zedern und seine Macht wie die Eichen; und ich vertilgte oben seine Frucht und unten seine Wurzel. Amo 2:9 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐξῆρα τὸν Αμορραῖον ἐκ προσώπου αὐτῶν οὗ ἦν καθὼς ὕψος κέδρου τὸ ὕψος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἰσχυρὸς ἦν ὡς δρῦς καὶ ἐξῆρα τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπάνωθεν καὶ τὰς ῥίζας αὐτοῦ ὑποκάτωθεν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:10 "It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And I led you in the wilderness forty years That you might take possession of the land of the Amorite. Amo 2:10 Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite. (kjv) Amo 2:10 Auch habe ich euch aus Ägyptenland geführt und vierzig Jahre in der Wüste geleitet, daß ihr der Amoriter Land besäßet. Amo 2:10 καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνήγαγον ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ περιήγαγον ὑμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη τοῦ κατακληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν τῶν Αμορραίων ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:11 "Then I raised up some of your sons to be prophets And some of your young men to be Nazirites. Is this not so, O sons of Israel?" declares the Lord. Amo 2:11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD. (kjv) Amo 2:11 Und habe aus euren Kindern Propheten auferweckt und Gottgeweihte aus euren Jünglingen. Ist's nicht also, ihr Kinder Israel? spricht der HERR. Amo 2:11 καὶ ἔλαβον ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν ὑμῶν εἰς προφήτας καὶ ἐκ τῶν νεανίσκων ὑμῶν εἰς ἁγιασμόν μὴ οὐκ ἔστιν ταῦτα υἱοὶ Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:12 "But you made the Nazirites drink wine, And you commanded the prophets saying, 'You shall not prophesy!' Amo 2:12 But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. (kjv) Amo 2:12 So gebt ihr den Geweihten Wein zu trinken und gebietet den Propheten und sprecht: Ihr sollt nicht weissagen! Amo 2:12 καὶ ἐποτίζετε τοὺς ἡγιασμένους οἶνον καὶ τοῖς προφήταις ἐνετέλλεσθε λέγοντες οὐ μὴ προφητεύσητε ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 2:13 "Behold, I am weighted down beneath you As a wagon is weighted down when filled with sheaves. Amo 3:4 εἰ ἐρεύξεται λέων ἐκ τοῦ δρυμοῦ αὐτοῦ θήραν οὐκ ἔχων εἰ δώσει σκύμνος φωνὴν αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῆς μάνδρας αὐτοῦ καθόλου ἐὰν μὴ ἁρπάσῃ τι ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 3:5 Does a bird fall into a trap on the ground when there is no bait in it? Does a trap spring up from the earth when it captures nothing at all? Amo 3:5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? (kjv) Amo 3:5 Fällt auch ein Vogel in den Strick auf der Erde, da kein Vogler ist? Hebt man auch den Strick auf von der Erde, der noch nichts gefangen hat? Amo 3:5 εἰ πεσεῖται ὄρνεον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἄνευ ἰξευτοῦ εἰ σχασθήσεται παγὶς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἄνευ τοῦ συλλαβεῖν τι ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 3:6 If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the Lord done it? Amo 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? Amo 3:6 εἰ φωνήσει σάλπιγξ ἐν πόλει καὶ λαὸς οὐ πτοηθήσεται εἰ ἔσται κακία ἐν πόλει ἣν κύριος οὐκ ἐποίησεν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets. Amo 3:9 Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. Amo 3:12 Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. Then I would send rain on one city And on another city I would not send rain; One part would be rained on, While the part not rained on would dry up. Amo 4:7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. Amo 4:9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. Er macht die Morgenröte und die Finsternis; er tritt einher auf den Höhen der Erde, er heißt HERR, Gott Zebaoth. Amo 5:5 But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought. Amo 5:11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them. Amo 5:11 διὰ τοῦτο ἀνθ᾽ ὧν κατεκονδυλίζετε πτωχοὺς καὶ δῶρα ἐκλεκτὰ ἐδέξασθε παρ᾽ αὐτῶν οἴκους ξυστοὺς ᾠκοδομήσατε καὶ οὐ μὴ κατοικήσητε ἐν αὐτοῖς ἀμπελῶνας ἐπιθυμητοὺς ἐφυτεύσατε καὶ οὐ μὴ πίητε τὸν οἶνον ἐξ αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 5:12 For I know your transgressions are many and your sins are great, You who distress the righteous and accept bribes And turn aside the poor in the gate. Amo 6:1 Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came! Are they better than these kingdoms, Or is their territory greater than yours? Amo 6:2 Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border? (kjv) Amo 6:2 Gehet hin gen Kalne und schauet, und von da gen Hamath, die große Stadt, und zieht hinab gen Gath der Philister, welche bessere Königreiche gewesen sind denn diese und ihre Grenze weiter denn eure Grenze. Amo 6:2 διάβητε πάντες καὶ ἴδετε καὶ διέλθατε ἐκεῖθεν εἰς Εμαθ Ραββα καὶ κατάβητε ἐκεῖθεν εἰς Γεθ ἀλλοφύλων τὰς κρατίστας ἐκ πασῶν τῶν βασιλειῶν τούτων εἰ πλέονα τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἐστιν τῶν ὑμετέρων ὁρίων ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 6:3 Do you put off the day of calamity, And would you bring near the seat of violence? Amo 6:6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Amo 6:8 The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein. And that one will say, "No one." Then he will answer, "Keep quiet. For the name of the Lord is not to be mentioned." Amo 6:10 And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. (kjv) Amo 6:10 daß einen jeglichen sein Vetter und der ihn verbrennen will, nehmen und die Gebeine aus dem Hause tragen muß und sagen zu dem, der in den Gemächern des Hauses ist: Sind ihrer auch noch mehr da? und der wird antworten: Sie sind alle dahin! Und er wird sagen: Sei still! denn man darf des Namens des HERRN nicht gedenken. Amo 7:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings. How can Jacob stand, For he is small?" Amo 7:2 And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. Amo 7:4 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part. (kjv) Amo 7:4 Der HERR HERR zeigte mir ein Gesicht, und siehe, der HERR HERR rief dem Feuer, damit zu strafen; das verzehrte die große Tiefe und fraß das Ackerland. Amo 7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. (kjv) Amo 7:7 Er zeigte mir abermals ein Gesicht, und siehe, der HERR stand auf einer Mauer, mit einer Bleischnur gemessen; und er hatte die Bleischnur in seiner Hand. Amo 7:7 οὕτως ἔδειξέν μοι κύριος καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ἑστηκὼς ἐπὶ τείχους ἀδαμαντίνου καὶ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ ἀδάμας ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 7:8 The Lord said to me, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said, "Behold I am about to put a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel. I will spare them no longer. Then I will rise up against the house of Jeroboam with the sword." Amo 7:9 And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword. Moreover, Israel will certainly go from its land into exile.'" Amo 7:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.(kjv) Amo 7:17 Darum spricht der HERR also: Dein Weib wird in der Stadt zur Hure werden, und deine Söhne und Töchter sollen durchs Schwert fallen, und dein Acker soll durch die Schnur ausgeteilt werden; du aber sollst in einem unreinen Lande sterben, und Israel soll aus seinem Lande vertrieben werden. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. "Many will be the corpses; in every place they will cast them forth in silence." Amo 8:3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence. (kjv) Amo 8:5 und sprecht: "Wann will denn der Neumond ein Ende haben, daß wir Getreide verkaufen, und der Sabbat, daß wir Korn feilhaben mögen und das Maß verringern und den Preis steigern und die Waage fälschen, Amo 8:5 οἱ λέγοντες πότε διελεύσεται ὁ μὴν καὶ ἐμπολήσομεν καὶ τὰ σάββατα καὶ ἀνοίξομεν θησαυροὺς τοῦ ποιῆσαι μικρὸν μέτρον καὶ τοῦ μεγαλῦναι στάθμια καὶ ποιῆσαι ζυγὸν ἄδικον ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 8:6 So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?" Amo 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? Amo 8:6 τοῦ κτᾶσθαι ἐν ἀργυρίῳ πτωχοὺς καὶ ταπεινὸν ἀντὶ ὑποδημάτων καὶ ἀπὸ παντὸς γενήματος ἐμπορευσόμεθα ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 8:7 The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds. Amo 8:7 The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. Amo 8:7 ὀμνύει κύριος καθ᾽ ὑπερηφανίας Ιακωβ εἰ ἐπιλησθήσεται εἰς νεῖκος πάντα τὰ ἔργα ὑμῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 8:8 "Because of this will not the land quake And everyone who dwells in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt. Amo 8:8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. (kjv) Amo 8:8 Sollte nicht um solches willen das ganze Land erbeben müssen und alle Einwohner trauern? Ja, es soll ganz wie mit einem Wasser überlaufen werden und weggeführt und überschwemmt werden wie mit dem Fluß Ägyptens. Amo 8:8 καὶ ἐπὶ τούτοις οὐ ταραχθήσεται ἡ γῆ καὶ πενθήσει πᾶς ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ ἀναβήσεται ὡς ποταμὸς συντέλεια καὶ καταβήσεται ὡς ποταμὸς Αἰγύπτου ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 8:9 "It will come about in that day," declares the Lord God, "That I will make the sun go down at noon And make the earth dark in broad daylight. Amo 8:9 καὶ ἔσται ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός καὶ δύσεται ὁ ἥλιος μεσημβρίας καὶ συσκοτάσει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τὸ φῶς ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 8:10 "Then I will turn your festivals into mourning And all your songs into lamentation; And I will bring sackcloth on everyone's loins And baldness on every head. And I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, And the end of it will be like a bitter day. Amo 8:14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.(kjv) Amo 8:14 die jetzt schwören bei dem Fluch Samarias und sprechen: "So wahr dein Gott zu Dan lebt! so wahr die Weise zu Beer-Seba lebt!" Denn sie sollen also fallen, daß sie nicht wieder aufstehen. Amo 8:14 οἱ ὀμνύοντες κατὰ τοῦ ἱλασμοῦ Σαμαρείας καὶ οἱ λέγοντες ζῇ ὁ θεός σου Δαν καὶ ζῇ ὁ θεός σου Βηρσαβεε καὶ πεσοῦνται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀναστῶσιν ἔτι ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:1 I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and He said, "Smite the capitals so that the thresholds will shake, And break them on the heads of them all! Then I will slay the rest of them with the sword; They will not have a fugitive who will flee, Or a refugee who will escape. Amo 9:1 I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. (kjv) Amo 9:1 Ich sah den HERRN auf dem Altar stehen, und er sprach: Schlage an den Knauf, daß die Pfosten beben und die Stücke ihnen allen auf den Kopf fallen; und ihre Nachkommen will ich mit dem Schwert erwürgen, daß keiner entfliehen noch irgend einer entgehen soll. Amo 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: (kjv) Amo 9:2 Und wenn sie sich gleich in die Hölle vergrüben, soll sie doch meine Hand von dort holen; und wenn sie gen Himmel führen, will ich sie doch herunterstoßen; Amo 9:2 ἐὰν κατορυγῶσιν εἰς ᾅδου ἐκεῖθεν ἡ χείρ μου ἀνασπάσει αὐτούς καὶ ἐὰν ἀναβῶσιν εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν ἐκεῖθεν κατάξω αὐτούς ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:3 "Though they hide on the summit of Carmel, I will search them out and take them from there; And though they conceal themselves from My sight on the floor of the sea, From there I will command the serpent and it will bite them. Amo 9:3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: (kjv) Amo 9:3 und wenn sie sich gleich versteckten oben auf dem Berge Karmel, will ich sie doch daselbst suchen und herabholen; und wenn sie sich vor meinen Augen verbürgen im Grunde des Meeres, so will ich doch den Schlangen befehlen, die sie daselbst stechen sollen; Amo 9:3 ἐὰν ἐγκρυβῶσιν εἰς τὴν κορυφὴν τοῦ Καρμήλου ἐκεῖθεν ἐξερευνήσω καὶ λήμψομαι αὐτούς καὶ ἐὰν καταδύσωσιν ἐξ ὀφθαλμῶν μου εἰς τὰ βάθη τῆς θαλάσσης ἐκεῖ ἐντελοῦμαι τῷ δράκοντι καὶ δήξεται αὐτούς ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:4 "And though they go into captivity before their enemies, From there I will command the sword that it slay them, And I will set My eyes against them for evil and not for good." Amo 9:4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. (kjv) Amo 9:4 und wenn sie vor ihren Feinde hin gefangen gingen, so will ich doch dem Schwert befehlen, daß es sie daselbst erwürgen soll. Denn ich will meine Augen über sie halten zum Unglück und nicht zum Guten. Amo 9:4 καὶ ἐὰν πορευθῶσιν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ πρὸ προσώπου τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν ἐκεῖ ἐντελοῦμαι τῇ ῥομφαίᾳ καὶ ἀποκτενεῖ αὐτούς καὶ στηριῶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς εἰς κακὰ καὶ οὐκ εἰς ἀγαθά ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:5 The Lord God of hosts, The One who touches the land so that it melts, And all those who dwell in it mourn, And all of it rises up like the Nile And subsides like the Nile of Egypt; Amo 9:5 And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. (kjv) Amo 9:5 Denn der HERR, HERR Zebaoth ist ein solcher: Wenn er ein Land anrührt, so zerschmilzt es, daß alle Einwohner trauern müssen; daß es soll ganz überlaufen werden wie mit einem Wasser und überschwemmt werden wie mit dem Fluß Ägyptens. Amo 9:5 καὶ κύριος κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ ὁ ἐφαπτόμενος τῆς γῆς καὶ σαλεύων αὐτήν καὶ πενθήσουσιν πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες αὐτήν καὶ ἀναβήσεται ὡς ποταμὸς συντέλεια αὐτῆς καὶ καταβήσεται ὡς ποταμὸς Αἰγύπτου ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:6 The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth, The Lord is His name. Amo 9:6 It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. (kjv) Amo 9:6 Er ist's, der seinen Saal in den Himmel baut und seine Hütte auf Erden gründet; er ruft dem Wasser im Meer und schüttet's auf das Erdreich, er heißt HERR. Amo 9:6 ὁ οἰκοδομῶν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν ἀνάβασιν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς θεμελιῶν ὁ προσκαλούμενος τὸ ὕδωρ τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐκχέων αὐτὸ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον τῆς γῆς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ ὄνομα αὐτῷ ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:7 "Are you not as the sons of Ethiopia to Me, O sons of Israel?" declares the Lord. "Have I not brought up Israel from the land of Egypt, And the Philistines from Caphtor and the Arameans from Kir? Amo 9:7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? (kjv) Amo 9:7 Seid ihr Kinder Israel mir nicht gleichwie Mohren? spricht der HERR. Habe ich nicht Israel aus Ägyptenland geführt und die Philister aus Kaphthor und die Syrer aus Kir? Amo 9:7 οὐχ ὡς υἱοὶ Αἰθιόπων ὑμεῖς ἐστε ἐμοί υἱοὶ Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος οὐ τὸν Ισραηλ ἀνήγαγον ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἐκ Καππαδοκίας καὶ τοὺς Σύρους ἐκ βόθρου ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:8 "Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom, And I will destroy it from the face of the earth; Nevertheless, I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob," Declares the Lord. Amo 9:8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. (kjv) Amo 9:8 Siehe, die Augen des HERRN HERRN sehen auf das sündige Königreich, daß ich's vom Erdboden vertilge; wiewohl ich das Haus Jakob nicht ganz und gar vertilgen will, spricht der HERR. Amo 9:8 ἰδοὺ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν καὶ ἐξαρῶ αὐτὴν ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς γῆς πλὴν ὅτι οὐκ εἰς τέλος ἐξαρῶ τὸν οἶκον Ιακωβ λέγει κύριος ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:9 "For behold, I am commanding, And I will shake the house of Israel among all nations As grain is shaken in a sieve, But not a kernel will fall to the ground. Amo 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. (kjv) Amo 9:9 Denn siehe, ich will befehlen und das Haus Israel unter alle Heiden sichten lassen, gleichwie man mit einem Sieb sichtet, und kein Körnlein soll auf die Erde fallen. Amo 9:9 διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι καὶ λικμιῶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ ὃν τρόπον λικμᾶται ἐν τῷ λικμῷ καὶ οὐ μὴ πέσῃ σύντριμμα ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:10 "All the sinners of My people will die by the sword, Those who say, 'The calamity will not overtake or confront us.' Amo 9:10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. (kjv) Amo 9:10 Alle Sünder in meinem Volk sollen durchs Schwert sterben, die da sagen: Es wird das Unglück nicht so nahe sein noch uns begegnen. Amo 9:10 ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ τελευτήσουσι πάντες ἁμαρτωλοὶ λαοῦ μου οἱ λέγοντες οὐ μὴ ἐγγίσῃ οὐδ᾽ οὐ μὴ γένηται ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς τὰ κακά ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:11 "In that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David, And wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins And rebuild it as in the days of old; Amo 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: (kjv) Amo 9:11 Zur selben Zeit will ich die zerfallene Hütte Davids wieder aufrichten und ihre Lücken verzäunen, und was abgebrochen ist, wieder aufrichten und will sie bauen wie sie vorzeiten gewesen ist, Amo 9:11 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀναστήσω τὴν σκηνὴν Δαυιδ τὴν πεπτωκυῖαν καὶ ἀνοικοδομήσω τὰ πεπτωκότα αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ κατεσκαμμένα αὐτῆς ἀναστήσω καὶ ἀνοικοδομήσω αὐτὴν καθὼς αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ αἰῶνος ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom And all the nations who are called by My name," Declares the Lord who does this. Amo 9:12 ὅπως ἐκζητήσωσιν οἱ κατάλοιποι τῶν ἀνθρώπων καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἐφ᾽ οὓς ἐπικέκληται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιῶν ταῦτα ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:13 "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord, "When the plowman will overtake the reaper And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; When the mountains will drip sweet wine And all the hills will be dissolved. Amo 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. (kjv) Amo 9:13 Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR, daß man zugleich ackern und ernten und zugleich keltern und säen wird; und die Berge werden von süßem Wein triefen, und alle Hügel werden fruchtbar sein. Amo 9:13 ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται λέγει κύριος καὶ καταλήμψεται ὁ ἀλοητὸς τὸν τρύγητον καὶ περκάσει ἡ σταφυλὴ ἐν τῷ σπόρῳ καὶ ἀποσταλάξει τὰ ὄρη γλυκασμόν καὶ πάντες οἱ βουνοὶ σύμφυτοι ἔσονται ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:14 "Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, And make gardens and eat their fruit. Amo 9:14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. (kjv) Amo 9:14 Denn ich will das Gefängnis meines Volkes Israel wenden, daß sie sollen die wüsten Städte bauen und bewohnen, Weinberge pflanzen und Wein davon trinken, Gärten machen und Früchte daraus essen. Amo 9:14 καὶ ἐπιστρέψω τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν λαοῦ μου Ισραηλ καὶ οἰκοδομήσουσιν πόλεις τὰς ἠφανισμένας καὶ κατοικήσουσιν καὶ καταφυτεύσουσιν ἀμπελῶνας καὶ πίονται τὸν οἶνον αὐτῶν καὶ φυτεύσουσιν κήπους καὶ φάγονται τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν ------------------------------------------------------ Amo 9:15 "I will also plant them on their land, And they will not again be rooted out from their land Which I have given them," Says the Lord your God.
