2Co 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia: 2Co 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: (kjv) 2Co 1:1 Paulus, ein Apostel Jesu Christi durch den Willen Gottes, und Bruder Timotheus der Gemeinde Gottes zu Korinth samt allen Heiligen in ganz Achaja: 2Co 1:1 παῦλος ἀπόστολος χριστοῦ ἰησοῦ διὰ θελήματος θεοῦ, καὶ τιμόθεος ὁ ἀδελφός, τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ τοῦ θεοῦ τῇ οὔσῃ ἐν κορίνθῳ, σὺν τοῖς ἁγίοις πᾶσιν τοῖς οὗσιν ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ἀχαΐᾳ· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2Co 1:2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 2Co 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; (kjv) 2Co 1:3 Gelobet sei Gott und der Vater unsers HERRN Jesu Christi, der Vater der Barmherzigkeit und Gott alles Trostes, 2Co 1:3 εὐλογητὸς ὁ θεὸς καὶ πατὴρ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ, ὁ πατὴρ τῶν οἰκτιρμῶν καὶ θεὸς πάσης παρακλήσεως, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 2Co 1:4 ὁ παρακαλῶν ἡμᾶς ἐπὶ πάσῃ τῇ θλίψει ἡμῶν, εἰς τὸ δύνασθαι ἡμᾶς παρακαλεῖν τοὺς ἐν πάσῃ θλίψει διὰ τῆς παρακλήσεως ἧς παρακαλούμεθα αὐτοὶ ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. 2Co 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; 2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:7 and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort. 2Co 1:7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life; 2Co 1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: (kjv) 2Co 1:8 Denn wir wollen euch nicht verhalten, liebe Brüder, unsre Trübsal, die uns in Asien widerfahren ist, da wir über die Maßen beschwert waren und über Macht, also daß wir auch am Leben verzagten 2Co 1:8 οὐ γὰρ θέλομεν ὑμᾶς ἀγνοεῖν, ἀδελφοί, ὑπὲρ τῆς θλίψεως ἡμῶν τῆς γενομένης ἐν τῇ ἀσίᾳ, ὅτι καθ᾽ ὑπερβολὴν ὑπὲρ δύναμιν ἐβαρήθημεν, ὥστε ἐξαπορηθῆναι ἡμᾶς καὶ τοῦ ζῆν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:9 indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; 2Co 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: (kjv) 2Co 1:9 und bei uns beschlossen hatten, wir müßten sterben. Das geschah aber darum, damit wir unser Vertrauen nicht auf uns selbst sollen stellen, sondern auf Gott, der die Toten auferweckt, 2Co 1:9 ἀλλὰ αὐτοὶ ἐν ἑαυτοῖς τὸ ἀπόκριμα τοῦ θανάτου ἐσχήκαμεν, ἵνα μὴ πεποιθότες ὦμεν ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτοῖς ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ τῶ θεῶ τῶ ἐγείροντι τοὺς νεκρούς· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:10 who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, 2Co 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; (kjv) 2Co 1:10 welcher uns von solchem Tode erlöst hat und noch täglich erlöst; und wir hoffen auf ihn, er werde uns auch hinfort erlösen, 2Co 1:10 ὃς ἐκ τηλικούτου θανάτου ἐρρύσατο ἡμᾶς καὶ ῥύσεται, εἰς ὃν ἠλπίκαμεν [ὅτι] καὶ ἔτι ῥύσεται, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:11 you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many. 2Co 1:11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:12 For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you. 2Co 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:13 For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end; 2Co 1:13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; (kjv) 2Co 1:13 Denn wir schreiben euch nichts anderes, als was ihr leset und auch befindet. 2Co 1:13 οὐ γὰρ ἄλλα γράφομεν ὑμῖν ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἃ ἀναγινώσκετε ἢ καὶ ἐπιγινώσκετε, ἐλπίζω δὲ ὅτι ἕως τέλους ἐπιγνώσεσθε, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:14 just as you also partially did understand us, that we are your reason to be proud as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus. 2Co 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:15 In this confidence I intended at first to come to you, so that you might twice receive a blessing; 2Co 1:15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; (kjv) 2Co 1:15 Und auf solch Vertrauen gedachte ich jenes Mal zu euch zu kommen, auf daß ihr abermals eine Wohltat empfinget, 2Co 1:15 καὶ ταύτῃ τῇ πεποιθήσει ἐβουλόμην πρότερον πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐλθεῖν, ἵνα δευτέραν χάριν σχῆτε, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:16 that is, to pass your way into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and by you to be helped on my journey to Judea. 2Co 1:16 And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:17 Therefore, I was not vacillating when I intended to do this, was I? Or what I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, so that with me there will be yes, yes and no, no at the same time? 2Co 1:17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay? 2Co 1:17 τοῦτο οὗν βουλόμενος μήτι ἄρα τῇ ἐλαφρίᾳ ἐχρησάμην; ἢ ἃ βουλεύομαι κατὰ σάρκα βουλεύομαι, ἵνα ᾖ παρ᾽ ἐμοὶ τὸ ναὶ ναὶ καὶ τὸ οὒ οὔ; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:18 But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yes and no. 2Co 1:18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:19 For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us--by me and Silvanus and Timothy--was not yes and no, but is yes in Him. 2Co 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. 2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, 2Co 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; (kjv) 2Co 1:21 Gott ist's aber, der uns befestigt samt euch in Christum und uns gesalbt 2Co 1:21 ὁ δὲ βεβαιῶν ἡμᾶς σὺν ὑμῖν εἰς χριστὸν καὶ χρίσας ἡμᾶς θεός, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:22 who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge. 2Co 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:23 But I call God as witness to my soul, that to spare you I did not come again to Corinth. 2Co 1:23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 1:24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but are workers with you for your joy; for in your faith you are standing firm. 2Co 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.(kjv) 2Co 1:24 Nicht daß wir Herren seien über euren Glauben, sondern wir sind Gehilfen eurer Freude; denn ihr stehet im Glauben. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:1 But I determined this for my own sake, that I would not come to you in sorrow again. 2Co 2:1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. 2Co 2:1 ἔκρινα γὰρ ἐμαυτῶ τοῦτο, τὸ μὴ πάλιν ἐν λύπῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐλθεῖν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:2 For if I cause you sorrow, who then makes me glad but the one whom I made sorrowful? 2Co 2:2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? 2Co 2:2 εἰ γὰρ ἐγὼ λυπῶ ὑμᾶς, καὶ τίς ὁ εὐφραίνων με εἰ μὴ ὁ λυπούμενος ἐξ ἐμοῦ; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:3 This is the very thing I wrote you, so that when I came, I would not have sorrow from those who ought to make me rejoice; having confidence in you all that my joy would be the joy of you all. 2Co 2:3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears; not so that you would be made sorrowful, but that you might know the love which I have especially for you. 2Co 2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:5 But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow not to me, but in some degree--in order not to say too much--to all of you. 2Co 2:5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:6 Sufficient for such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the majority, 2Co 2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. (kjv) 2Co 2:6 Es ist aber genug, daß derselbe von vielen also gestraft ist, 2Co 2:6 ἱκανὸν τῶ τοιούτῳ ἡ ἐπιτιμία αὕτη ἡ ὑπὸ τῶν πλειόνων, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a one might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 2Co 2:7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:8 Wherefore I urge you to reaffirm your love for him. 2Co 2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him. 2Co 2:8 διὸ παρακαλῶ ὑμᾶς κυρῶσαι εἰς αὐτὸν ἀγάπην· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:9 For to this end also I wrote, so that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things. 2Co 2:9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:10 But one whom you forgive anything, I forgive also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ, 2Co 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; (kjv) 2Co 2:10 Welchem aber ihr etwas vergebet, dem vergebe ich auch. Denn auch ich, so ich etwas vergebe jemand, das vergebe ich um euretwillen an Christi Statt, 2Co 2:10 ᾧ δέ τι χαρίζεσθε, κἀγώ· καὶ γὰρ ἐγὼ ὃ κεχάρισμαι, εἴ τι κεχάρισμαι, δι᾽ ὑμᾶς ἐν προσώπῳ χριστοῦ, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:11 so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes. 2Co 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:12 Now when I came to Troas for the gospel of Christ and when a door was opened for me in the Lord, 2Co 2:12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord, (kjv) 2Co 2:12 Da ich aber gen Troas kam, zu predigen das Evangelium Christi, und mir eine Tür aufgetan war in dem HERRN, 2Co 2:12 ἐλθὼν δὲ εἰς τὴν τρῳάδα εἰς τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ χριστοῦ, καὶ θύρας μοι ἀνεῳγμένης ἐν κυρίῳ, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:13 I had no rest for my spirit, not finding Titus my brother; but taking my leave of them, I went on to Macedonia. 2Co 2:13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 2Co 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 2Co 2:14 τῶ δὲ θεῶ χάρις τῶ πάντοτε θριαμβεύοντι ἡμᾶς ἐν τῶ χριστῶ καὶ τὴν ὀσμὴν τῆς γνώσεως αὐτοῦ φανεροῦντι δι᾽ ἡμῶν ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:15 For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; 2Co 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: (kjv) 2Co 2:15 Denn wir sind Gott ein guter Geruch Christi unter denen, die selig werden, und unter denen, die verloren werden: 2Co 2:15 ὅτι χριστοῦ εὐωδία ἐσμὲν τῶ θεῶ ἐν τοῖς σῳζομένοις καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἀπολλυμένοις, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:16 to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? 2Co 2:16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? καὶ πρὸς ταῦτα τίς ἱκανός; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 2:17 For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God. 2Co 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.(kjv) 2Co 2:17 Denn wir sind nicht, wie die vielen, die das Wort Gottes verfälschen; sondern als aus Lauterkeit und als aus Gott reden wir vor Gott in Christo. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you or from you? 2Co 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2Co 3:1 ἀρχόμεθα πάλιν ἑαυτοὺς συνιστάνειν; ἢ μὴ χρῄζομεν ὥς τινες συστατικῶν ἐπιστολῶν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἢ ἐξ ὑμῶν; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: (kjv) 2Co 3:2 Ihr seid unser Brief, in unser Herz geschrieben, der erkannt und gelesen wird von allen Menschen; 2Co 3:2 ἡ ἐπιστολὴ ἡμῶν ὑμεῖς ἐστε, ἐγγεγραμμένη ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ἡμῶν, γινωσκομένη καὶ ἀναγινωσκομένη ὑπὸ πάντων ἀνθρώπων· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:3 being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 2Co 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God. 2Co 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: (kjv) 2Co 3:4 Ein solch Vertrauen aber haben wir durch Christum zu Gott. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:5 Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, 2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; (kjv) 2Co 3:5 Nicht, daß wir tüchtig sind von uns selber, etwas zu denken als von uns selber; sondern daß wir tüchtig sind, ist von Gott, 2Co 3:5 οὐχ ὅτι ἀφ᾽ ἑαυτῶν ἱκανοί ἐσμεν λογίσασθαί τι ὡς ἐξ ἑαυτῶν, ἀλλ᾽ ἡ ἱκανότης ἡμῶν ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:6 who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, 2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: (kjv) 2Co 3:7 So aber das Amt, das durch die Buchstaben tötet und in die Steine gebildet war, Klarheit hatte, also daß die Kinder Israel nicht konnten ansehen das Angesicht Mose's um der Klarheit willen seines Angesichtes, die doch aufhört, 2Co 3:7 εἰ δὲ ἡ διακονία τοῦ θανάτου ἐν γράμμασιν ἐντετυπωμένη λίθοις ἐγενήθη ἐν δόξῃ, ὥστε μὴ δύνασθαι ἀτενίσαι τοὺς υἱοὺς ἰσραὴλ εἰς τὸ πρόσωπον μωϊσέως διὰ τὴν δόξαν τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ τὴν καταργουμένην, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:8 how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory? 2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 2Co 3:8 πῶς οὐχὶ μᾶλλον ἡ διακονία τοῦ πνεύματος ἔσται ἐν δόξῃ; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:9 For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory. 2Co 3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:10 For indeed what had glory, in this case has no glory because of the glory that surpasses it. 2Co 3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 2Co 3:10 καὶ γὰρ οὐ δεδόξασται τὸ δεδοξασμένον ἐν τούτῳ τῶ μέρει εἵνεκεν τῆς ὑπερβαλλούσης δόξης· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:11 For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory. 2Co 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:12 Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech, 2Co 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: (kjv) 2Co 3:12 Dieweil wir nun solche Hoffnung haben, sind wir voll großer Freudigkeit 2Co 3:12 ἔχοντες οὗν τοιαύτην ἐλπίδα πολλῇ παρρησίᾳ χρώμεθα, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:13 and are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel would not look intently at the end of what was fading away. 2Co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: (kjv) 2Co 3:13 und tun nicht wie Mose, der die Decke vor sein Angesicht hing, daß die Kinder Israel nicht ansehen konnten das Ende des, das aufhört; 2Co 3:13 καὶ οὐ καθάπερ μωϊσῆς ἐτίθει κάλυμμα ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ, πρὸς τὸ μὴ ἀτενίσαι τοὺς υἱοὺς ἰσραὴλ εἰς τὸ τέλος τοῦ καταργουμένου. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:14 But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. 2Co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. ἄχρι γὰρ τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας τὸ αὐτὸ κάλυμμα ἐπὶ τῇ ἀναγνώσει τῆς παλαιᾶς διαθήκης μένει μὴ ἀνακαλυπτόμενον, ὅτι ἐν χριστῶ καταργεῖται· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:15 But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 2Co 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 2Co 3:15 ἀλλ᾽ ἕως σήμερον ἡνίκα ἂν ἀναγινώσκηται μωϊσῆς κάλυμμα ἐπὶ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτῶν κεῖται· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 2Co 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.(kjv) 2Co 3:18 Nun aber spiegelt sich in uns allen des HERRN Klarheit mit aufgedecktem Angesicht, und wir werden verklärt in dasselbe Bild von einer Klarheit zu der andern, als vom HERRN, der der Geist ist. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, 2Co 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; (kjv) 2Co 4:1 Darum, dieweil wir ein solch Amt haben, wie uns denn Barmherzigkeit widerfahren ist, so werden wir nicht müde, 2Co 4:1 διὰ τοῦτο, ἔχοντες τὴν διακονίαν ταύτην, καθὼς ἠλεήθημεν, οὐκ ἐγκακοῦμεν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 2Co 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: (kjv) 2Co 4:3 Ist nun unser Evangelium verdeckt, so ist's in denen, die verloren werden, verdeckt; 2Co 4:3 εἰ δὲ καὶ ἔστιν κεκαλυμμένον τὸ εὐαγγέλιον ἡμῶν, ἐν τοῖς ἀπολλυμένοις ἐστὶν κεκαλυμμένον, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:5 For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake. 2Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2Co 4:7 ἔχομεν δὲ τὸν θησαυρὸν τοῦτον ἐν ὀστρακίνοις σκεύεσιν, ἵνα ἡ ὑπερβολὴ τῆς δυνάμεως ᾖ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ μὴ ἐξ ἡμῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:8 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; (kjv) 2Co 4:8 Wir haben allenthalben Trübsal, aber wir ängsten uns nicht; uns ist bange, aber wir verzagen nicht; 2Co 4:8 ἐν παντὶ θλιβόμενοι ἀλλ᾽ οὐ στενοχωρούμενοι, ἀπορούμενοι ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ἐξαπορούμενοι, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; (kjv) 2Co 4:9 wir leiden Verfolgung, aber wir werden nicht verlassen; wir werden unterdrückt, aber wir kommen nicht um; 2Co 4:9 διωκόμενοι ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ἐγκαταλειπόμενοι, καταβαλλόμενοι ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ἀπολλύμενοι, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 2Co 4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:12 So death works in us, but life in you. 2Co 4:12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak, 2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; (kjv) 2Co 4:13 Dieweil wir aber denselbigen Geist des Glaubens haben, nach dem, das geschrieben steht: "Ich glaube, darum rede ich", so glauben wir auch, darum so reden wir auch 2Co 4:13 ἔχοντες δὲ τὸ αὐτὸ πνεῦμα τῆς πίστεως, κατὰ τὸ γεγραμμένον, ἐπίστευσα, διὸ ἐλάλησα, καὶ ἡμεῖς πιστεύομεν, διὸ καὶ λαλοῦμεν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. 2Co 4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. 2Co 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 2Co 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 2Co 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; (kjv) 2Co 4:17 Denn unsre Trübsal, die zeitlich und leicht ist, schafft eine ewige und über alle Maßen wichtige Herrlichkeit 2Co 4:17 τὸ γὰρ παραυτίκα ἐλαφρὸν τῆς θλίψεως ἡμῶν καθ᾽ ὑπερβολὴν εἰς ὑπερβολὴν αἰώνιον βάρος δόξης κατεργάζεται ἡμῖν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 4:18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.(kjv) 2Co 4:18 uns, die wir nicht sehen auf das Sichtbare, sondern auf das Unsichtbare. Denn was sichtbar ist, das ist zeitlich; was aber unsichtbar ist, das ist ewig. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:1 For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2Co 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, 2Co 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: (kjv) 2Co 5:2 Und darüber sehnen wir uns auch nach unsrer Behausung, die vom Himmel ist, und uns verlangt, daß wir damit überkleidet werden; 2Co 5:2 καὶ γὰρ ἐν τούτῳ στενάζομεν, τὸ οἰκητήριον ἡμῶν τὸ ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἐπενδύσασθαι ἐπιποθοῦντες, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:3 inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked. 2Co 5:3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:4 For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. 2Co 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge. 2Co 5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- 2Co 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (kjv) 2Co 5:6 So sind wir denn getrost allezeit und wissen, daß, dieweil wir im Leibe wohnen, so wallen wir ferne vom HERRN; 2Co 5:6 θαρροῦντες οὗν πάντοτε καὶ εἰδότες ὅτι ἐνδημοῦντες ἐν τῶ σώματι ἐκδημοῦμεν ἀπὸ τοῦ κυρίου, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight-- 2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) (kjv) 2Co 5:7 denn wir wandeln im Glauben, und nicht im Schauen. 2Co 5:7 διὰ πίστεως γὰρ περιπατοῦμεν οὐ διὰ εἴδους _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 2Co 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences. 2Co 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:12 We are not again commending ourselves to you but are giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you will have an answer for those who take pride in appearance and not in heart. 2Co 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 2Co 5:13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: (kjv) 2Co 5:14 Denn die Liebe Christi dringt in uns also, sintemal wir halten, daß, so einer für alle gestorben ist, so sind sie alle gestorben; 2Co 5:14 ἡ γὰρ ἀγάπη τοῦ χριστοῦ συνέχει ἡμᾶς, κρίναντας τοῦτο, ὅτι εἷς ὑπὲρ πάντων ἀπέθανεν· ἄρα οἱ πάντες ἀπέθανον· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. 2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:16 Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. 2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Co 5:17 ὥστε εἴ τις ἐν χριστῶ, καινὴ κτίσις· τὰ ἀρχαῖα παρῆλθεν, ἰδοὺ γέγονεν καινά· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (kjv) 2Co 5:18 Aber das alles von Gott, der uns mit ihm selber versöhnt hat durch Jesum Christum und das Amt gegeben, das die Versöhnung predigt. 2Co 5:18 τὰ δὲ πάντα ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ καταλλάξαντος ἡμᾶς ἑαυτῶ διὰ χριστοῦ καὶ δόντος ἡμῖν τὴν διακονίαν τῆς καταλλαγῆς, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2Co 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.(kjv) 2Co 5:21 Denn er hat den, der von keiner Sünde wußte, für uns zur Sünde gemacht, auf daß wir würden in ihm die Gerechtigkeit, die vor Gott gilt. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:1 And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain-- 2Co 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2Co 6:1 συνεργοῦντες δὲ καὶ παρακαλοῦμεν μὴ εἰς κενὸν τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ δέξασθαι ὑμᾶς _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:2 for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION"-- 2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2Co 6:2 λέγει γάρ, καιρῶ δεκτῶ ἐπήκουσά σου καὶ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ σωτηρίας ἐβοήθησά σοι· ἰδοὺ νῦν καιρὸς εὐπρόσδεκτος, ἰδοὺ νῦν ἡμέρα σωτηρίας _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:3 giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited, 2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: (kjv) 2Co 6:3 Und wir geben niemand irgend ein Ärgernis, auf daß unser Amt nicht verlästert werde; 2Co 6:3 μηδεμίαν ἐν μηδενὶ διδόντες προσκοπήν, ἵνα μὴ μωμηθῇ ἡ διακονία, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:4 but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, 2Co 6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, (kjv) 2Co 6:4 sondern in allen Dingen beweisen wir uns als die Diener Gottes: in großer Geduld, in Trübsalen, in Nöten, in Ängsten, 2Co 6:4 ἀλλ᾽ ἐν παντὶ συνίσταντες ἑαυτοὺς ὡς θεοῦ διάκονοι, ἐν ὑπομονῇ πολλῇ, ἐν θλίψεσιν, ἐν ἀνάγκαις, ἐν στενοχωρίαις, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger, 2Co 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; (kjv) 2Co 6:5 in Schlägen, in Gefängnissen, in Aufruhren, in Arbeit, in Wachen, in Fasten, 2Co 6:5 ἐν πληγαῖς, ἐν φυλακαῖς, ἐν ἀκαταστασίαις, ἐν κόποις, ἐν ἀγρυπνίαις, ἐν νηστείαις, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:6 in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love, 2Co 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, (kjv) 2Co 6:6 in Keuschheit, in Erkenntnis, in Langmut, in Freundlichkeit, in dem heiligen Geist, in ungefärbter Liebe, 2Co 6:6 ἐν ἁγνότητι, ἐν γνώσει, ἐν μακροθυμίᾳ, ἐν χρηστότητι, ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ, ἐν ἀγάπῃ ἀνυποκρίτῳ, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left, 2Co 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, (kjv) 2Co 6:7 in dem Wort der Wahrheit, in der Kraft Gottes, durch Waffen der Gerechtigkeit zur Rechten und zur Linken, 2Co 6:7 ἐν λόγῳ ἀληθείας, ἐν δυνάμει θεοῦ· διὰ τῶν ὅπλων τῆς δικαιοσύνης τῶν δεξιῶν καὶ ἀριστερῶν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true; 2Co 6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; (kjv) 2Co 6:8 durch Ehre und Schande, durch böse Gerüchte und gute Gerüchte: als die Verführer, und doch wahrhaftig; 2Co 6:8 διὰ δόξης καὶ ἀτιμίας, διὰ δυσφημίας καὶ εὐφημίας· ὡς πλάνοι καὶ ἀληθεῖς, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:9 as unknown yet well-known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death, 2Co 6:9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; (kjv) 2Co 6:9 als die Unbekannten, und doch bekannt; als die Sterbenden, und siehe, wir leben; als die Gezüchtigten, und doch nicht ertötet; 2Co 6:9 ὡς ἀγνοούμενοι καὶ ἐπιγινωσκόμενοι, ὡς ἀποθνῄσκοντες καὶ ἰδοὺ ζῶμεν, ὡς παιδευόμενοι καὶ μὴ θανατούμενοι, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:10 as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things. 2Co 6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:11 Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide. 2Co 6:11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. 2Co 6:11 τὸ στόμα ἡμῶν ἀνέῳγεν πρὸς ὑμᾶς, κορίνθιοι, ἡ καρδία ἡμῶν πεπλάτυνται· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:12 You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections. 2Co 6:12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. 2Co 6:12 οὐ στενοχωρεῖσθε ἐν ἡμῖν, στενοχωρεῖσθε δὲ ἐν τοῖς σπλάγχνοις ὑμῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:13 Now in a like exchange--I speak as to children--open wide to us also. 2Co 6:13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2Co 6:14 μὴ γίνεσθε ἑτεροζυγοῦντες ἀπίστοις· τίς γὰρ μετοχὴ δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ ἀνομίᾳ; ἢ τίς κοινωνία φωτὶ πρὸς σκότος; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 2Co 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 2Co 6:15 τίς δὲ συμφώνησις χριστοῦ πρὸς βελιάρ, ἢ τίς μερὶς πιστῶ μετὰ ἀπίστου; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. 2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:17 "; And I will welcome you. 2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. (kjv) 2Co 6:17 Darum gehet aus von ihnen und sondert euch ab, spricht der HERR, und rührt kein Unreines an, so will ich euch annehmen 2Co 6:17 διὸ ἐξέλθατε ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν καὶ ἀφορίσθητε, λέγει κύριος, καὶ ἀκαθάρτου μὴ ἅπτεσθε· κἀγὼ εἰσδέξομαι ὑμᾶς, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 6:18 "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. 2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.(kjv) 2Co 6:18 und euer Vater sein, und ihr sollt meine Söhne und Töchter sein, spricht der allmächtige HERR." 2Co 6:18 καὶ ἔσομαι ὑμῖν εἰς πατέρα, καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔσεσθέ μοι εἰς υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας, λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:2 Make room for us in your hearts; we wronged no one, we corrupted no one, we took advantage of no one. 2Co 7:2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:3 I do not speak to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die together and to live together. 2Co 7:3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:4 Great is my confidence in you; great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction. 2Co 7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:5 For even when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side: conflicts without, fears within. 2Co 7:5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. (kjv) 2Co 7:5 Denn da wir nach Mazedonien kamen, hatte unser Fleisch keine Ruhe; sondern allenthalben waren wir in Trübsal: auswendig Streit, inwendig Furcht. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:6 But God, who comforts the depressed, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 2Co 7:6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; (kjv) 2Co 7:6 Aber Gott, der die Geringen tröstet, der tröstete auch uns durch die Ankunft des Titus; 2Co 7:6 ἀλλ᾽ ὁ παρακαλῶν τοὺς ταπεινοὺς παρεκάλεσεν ἡμᾶς ὁ θεὸς ἐν τῇ παρουσίᾳ τίτου· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:7 and not only by his coming, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, as he reported to us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced even more. 2Co 7:7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:8 For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it--for I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while-- 2Co 7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. Und ob's mich reute, dieweil ich sehe, daß der Brief vielleicht eine Weile euch betrübt hat, 2Co 7:8 ὅτι εἰ καὶ ἐλύπησα ὑμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐπιστολῇ, οὐ μεταμέλομαι· εἰ καὶ μετεμελόμην βλέπω [γὰρ] ὅτι ἡ ἐπιστολὴ ἐκείνη εἰ καὶ πρὸς ὥραν ἐλύπησεν ὑμᾶς, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:9 I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. 2Co 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:10 For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. 2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:11 For behold what earnestness this very thing, this godly sorrow, has produced in you: what vindication of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what avenging of wrong! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be innocent in the matter. 2Co 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:12 So although I wrote to you, it was not for the sake of the offender nor for the sake of the one offended, but that your earnestness on our behalf might be made known to you in the sight of God. 2Co 7:12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:13 For this reason we have been comforted. And besides our comfort, we rejoiced even much more for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all. 2Co 7:13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. ἐπὶ δὲ τῇ παρακλήσει ἡμῶν περισσοτέρως μᾶλλον ἐχάρημεν ἐπὶ τῇ χαρᾷ τίτου, ὅτι ἀναπέπαυται τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ πάντων ὑμῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:14 For if in anything I have boasted to him about you, I was not put to shame; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, so also our boasting before Titus proved to be the truth. 2Co 7:14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth. (kjv) 2Co 7:14 Denn was ich vor ihm von euch gerühmt habe, darin bin ich nicht zu Schanden geworden; sondern, gleichwie alles wahr ist, was ich von euch geredet habe, also ist auch unser Rühmen vor Titus wahr geworden. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:15 His affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling. 2Co 7:15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 7:16 I rejoice that in everything I have confidence in you. 2Co 7:16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.(kjv) 2Co 7:16 Ich freue mich, daß ich mich zu euch alles Guten versehen darf. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:1 Now, brethren, we wish to make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia, 2Co 8:1 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; (kjv) 2Co 8:1 Ich tue euch kund, liebe Brüder, die Gnade Gottes, die in den Gemeinden in Mazedonien gegeben ist. 2Co 8:1 γνωρίζομεν δὲ ὑμῖν, ἀδελφοί, τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ τὴν δεδομένην ἐν ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς μακεδονίας, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:2 that in a great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the wealth of their liberality. 2Co 8:2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. 2Co 8:2 ὅτι ἐν πολλῇ δοκιμῇ θλίψεως ἡ περισσεία τῆς χαρᾶς αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ κατὰ βάθους πτωχεία αὐτῶν ἐπερίσσευσεν εἰς τὸ πλοῦτος τῆς ἁπλότητος αὐτῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:3 For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord, 2Co 8:3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; (kjv) 2Co 8:3 Denn nach allem Vermögen (das bezeuge ich) und über Vermögen waren sie willig 2Co 8:3 ὅτι κατὰ δύναμιν, μαρτυρῶ, καὶ παρὰ δύναμιν, αὐθαίρετοι ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:4 begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints, 2Co 8:4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. (kjv) 2Co 8:4 und baten uns mit vielem Zureden, daß wir aufnähmen die Wohltat und Gemeinschaft der Handreichung, die da geschieht den Heiligen; 2Co 8:4 μετὰ πολλῆς παρακλήσεως δεόμενοι ἡμῶν τὴν χάριν καὶ τὴν κοινωνίαν τῆς διακονίας τῆς εἰς τοὺς ἁγίους _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:5 and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God. 2Co 8:5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God. (kjv) 2Co 8:5 und nicht, wie wir hofften, sondern sie ergaben sich selbst, zuerst dem HERRN und darnach uns, durch den Willen Gottes, 2Co 8:5 καὶ οὐ καθὼς ἠλπίσαμεν ἀλλ᾽ ἑαυτοὺς ἔδωκαν πρῶτον τῶ κυρίῳ καὶ ἡμῖν διὰ θελήματος θεοῦ, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:6 So we urged Titus that as he had previously made a beginning, so he would also complete in you this gracious work as well. 2Co 8:6 Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:7 But just as you abound in everything, in faith and utterance and knowledge and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, see that you abound in this gracious work also. 2Co 8:7 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:8 I am not speaking this as a command, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity of your love also. 2Co 8:8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love. 2Co 8:8 οὐ κατ᾽ ἐπιταγὴν λέγω, ἀλλὰ διὰ τῆς ἑτέρων σπουδῆς καὶ τὸ τῆς ὑμετέρας ἀγάπης γνήσιον δοκιμάζων· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2Co 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:10 I give my opinion in this matter, for this is to your advantage, who were the first to begin a year ago not only to do this, but also to desire to do it. 2Co 8:10 And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago. (kjv) 2Co 8:10 Und meine Meinung hierin gebe ich; denn solches ist euch nützlich, die ihr angefangen habt vom vorigen Jahre her nicht allein das Tun, sondern auch das Wollen; 2Co 8:10 καὶ γνώμην ἐν τούτῳ δίδωμι· τοῦτο γὰρ ὑμῖν συμφέρει, οἵτινες οὐ μόνον τὸ ποιῆσαι ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸ θέλειν προενήρξασθε ἀπὸ πέρυσι· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:11 But now finish doing it also, so that just as there was the readiness to desire it, so there may be also the completion of it by your ability. 2Co 8:11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:12 For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. 2Co 8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:13 For this is not for the ease of others and for your affliction, but by way of equality-- 2Co 8:13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: (kjv) 2Co 8:13 Nicht geschieht das in der Meinung, daß die andern Ruhe haben, und ihr Trübsal, sondern daß es gleich sei. 2Co 8:13 οὐ γὰρ ἵνα ἄλλοις ἄνεσις, ὑμῖν θλῖψις· ἀλλ᾽ ἐξ ἰσότητος ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:14 at this present time your abundance being a supply for their need, so that their abundance also may become a supply for your need, that there may be equality; 2Co 8:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: (kjv) 2Co 8:14 So diene euer Überfluß ihrem Mangel diese teure Zeit lang, auf daß auch ihr Überfluß hernach diene eurem Mangel und ein Ausgleich geschehe; 2Co 8:14 ἐν τῶ νῦν καιρῶ τὸ ὑμῶν περίσσευμα εἰς τὸ ἐκείνων ὑστέρημα, ἵνα καὶ τὸ ἐκείνων περίσσευμα γένηται εἰς τὸ ὑμῶν ὑστέρημα, ὅπως γένηται ἰσότης· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:15 as it is written, "HE WHO gathered MUCH DID NOT HAVE TOO MUCH, AND HE WHO gathered LITTLE HAD NO LACK." 2Co 8:15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:16 But thanks be to God who puts the same earnestness on your behalf in the heart of Titus. 2Co 8:16 But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you. 2Co 8:16 χάρις δὲ τῶ θεῶ τῶ δόντι τὴν αὐτὴν σπουδὴν ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ τίτου, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:17 For he not only accepted our appeal, but being himself very earnest, he has gone to you of his own accord. 2Co 8:17 For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:18 We have sent along with him the brother whose fame in the things of the gospel has spread through all the churches; 2Co 8:18 And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches; (kjv) 2Co 8:18 Wir haben aber einen Bruder mit ihm gesandt, der das Lob hat am Evangelium durch alle Gemeinden. 2Co 8:18 συνεπέμψαμεν δὲ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὸν ἀδελφὸν οὖ ὁ ἔπαινος ἐν τῶ εὐαγγελίῳ διὰ πασῶν τῶν ἐκκλησιῶν ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:19 and not only this, but he has also been appointed by the churches to travel with us in this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself, and to show our readiness, 2Co 8:19 And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind: (kjv) 2Co 8:19 Nicht allein aber das, sondern er ist auch verordnet von den Gemeinden zum Gefährten unsrer Fahrt in dieser Wohltat, welche durch uns ausgerichtet wird dem HERRN zu Ehren und zum Preis eures guten Willens. 2Co 8:19 _ οὐ μόνον δὲ ἀλλὰ καὶ χειροτονηθεὶς ὑπὸ τῶν ἐκκλησιῶν συνέκδημος ἡμῶν σὺν τῇ χάριτι ταύτῃ τῇ διακονουμένῃ ὑφ᾽ ἡμῶν πρὸς τὴν [αὐτοῦ] τοῦ κυρίου δόξαν καὶ προθυμίαν ἡμῶν _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:20 taking precaution so that no one will discredit us in our administration of this generous gift; 2Co 8:20 Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us: (kjv) 2Co 8:20 Also verhüten wir, daß uns nicht jemand übel nachreden möge solcher reichen Steuer halben, die durch uns ausgerichtet wird; 2Co 8:20 στελλόμενοι τοῦτο μή τις ἡμᾶς μωμήσηται ἐν τῇ ἁδρότητι ταύτῃ τῇ διακονουμένῃ ὑφ᾽ ἡμῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:21 for we have regard for what is honorable, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. 2Co 8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:22 We have sent with them our brother, whom we have often tested and found diligent in many things, but now even more diligent because of his great confidence in you. 2Co 8:22 And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:23 As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you; as for our brethren, they are messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ. 2Co 8:23 Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 8:24 Therefore openly before the churches, show them the proof of your love and of our reason for boasting about you. 2Co 8:24 Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.(kjv) 2Co 8:24 Erzeiget nun die Beweisung eurer Liebe und unsers Rühmens von euch an diesen auch öffentlich vor den Gemeinden! ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:1 For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints; 2Co 9:1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: (kjv) 2Co 9:1 Denn von solcher Steuer, die den Heiligen geschieht, ist mir nicht not, euch zu schreiben. 2Co 9:1 περὶ μὲν γὰρ τῆς διακονίας τῆς εἰς τοὺς ἁγίους περισσόν μοί ἐστιν τὸ γράφειν ὑμῖν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:2 for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the Macedonians, namely, that Achaia has been prepared since last year, and your zeal has stirred up most of them. 2Co 9:2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:3 But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made empty in this case, so that, as I was saying, you may be prepared; 2Co 9:3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready: (kjv) 2Co 9:3 Ich habe aber diese Brüder darum gesandt, daß nicht unser Rühmen von euch zunichte würde in dem Stücke, und daß ihr bereit seid, gleichwie ich von euch gesagt habe; 2Co 9:3 ἔπεμψα δὲ τοὺς ἀδελφούς, ἵνα μὴ τὸ καύχημα ἡμῶν τὸ ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν κενωθῇ ἐν τῶ μέρει τούτῳ, ἵνα καθὼς ἔλεγον παρεσκευασμένοι ἦτε, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:4 otherwise if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we--not to speak of you--will be put to shame by this confidence. 2Co 9:4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brethren that they would go on ahead to you and arrange beforehand your previously promised bountiful gift, so that the same would be ready as a bountiful gift and not affected by covetousness. 2Co 9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2Co 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:7 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (kjv) 2Co 9:8 Gott aber kann machen, daß allerlei Gnade unter euch reichlich sei, daß ihr in allen Dingen volle Genüge habt und reich seid zu allerlei guten Werken; 2Co 9:8 δυνατεῖ δὲ ὁ θεὸς πᾶσαν χάριν περισσεῦσαι εἰς ὑμᾶς, ἵνα ἐν παντὶ πάντοτε πᾶσαν αὐτάρκειαν ἔχοντες περισσεύητε εἰς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθόν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:9 as it is ." 2Co 9:9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. (kjv) 2Co 9:9 wie geschrieben steht: "Er hat ausgestreut und gegeben den Armen; seine Gerechtigkeit bleibt in Ewigkeit." 2Co 9:9 καθὼς γέγραπται, ἐσκόρπισεν, ἔδωκεν τοῖς πένησιν, ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; 2Co 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) (kjv) 2Co 9:10 Der aber Samen reicht dem Säemann, der wird auch das Brot reichen zur Speise und wird vermehren euren Samen und wachsen lassen das Gewächs eurer Gerechtigkeit, 2Co 9:10 ὁ δὲ ἐπιχορηγῶν σπόρον τῶ σπείροντι καὶ ἄρτον εἰς βρῶσιν χορηγήσει καὶ πληθυνεῖ τὸν σπόρον ὑμῶν καὶ αὐξήσει τὰ γενήματα τῆς δικαιοσύνης ὑμῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 2Co 9:11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 2Co 9:11 ἐν παντὶ πλουτιζόμενοι εἰς πᾶσαν ἁπλότητα, ἥτις κατεργάζεται δι᾽ ἡμῶν εὐχαριστίαν τῶ θεῶ _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. 2Co 9:12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; (kjv) 2Co 9:12 Denn die Handreichung dieser Steuer erfüllt nicht allein den Mangel der Heiligen, sondern ist auch überschwenglich darin, daß viele Gott danken für diesen unsern treuen Dienst 2Co 9:12 ὅτι ἡ διακονία τῆς λειτουργίας ταύτης οὐ μόνον ἐστὶν προσαναπληροῦσα τὰ ὑστερήματα τῶν ἁγίων, ἀλλὰ καὶ περισσεύουσα διὰ πολλῶν εὐχαριστιῶν τῶ θεῶ _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:13 Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, 2Co 9:13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; (kjv) 2Co 9:13 und preisen Gott über euer untertäniges Bekenntnis des Evangeliums Christi und über eure einfältige Steuer an sie und an alle, 2Co 9:13 διὰ τῆς δοκιμῆς τῆς διακονίας ταύτης δοξάζοντες τὸν θεὸν ἐπὶ τῇ ὑποταγῇ τῆς ὁμολογίας ὑμῶν εἰς τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ χριστοῦ καὶ ἁπλότητι τῆς κοινωνίας εἰς αὐτοὺς καὶ εἰς πάντας, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:14 while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you. 2Co 9:14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2Co 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.(kjv) 2Co 9:15 Gott aber sei Dank für seine unaussprechliche Gabe! ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:1 Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ--I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent! 2Co 10:1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: (kjv) 2Co 10:1 Ich aber, Paulus, ermahne euch durch die Sanftmütigkeit und Lindigkeit Christi, der ich gegenwärtig unter euch gering bin, abwesend aber dreist gegen euch. 2Co 10:1 αὐτὸς δὲ ἐγὼ παῦλος παρακαλῶ ὑμᾶς διὰ τῆς πραΰτητος καὶ ἐπιεικείας τοῦ χριστοῦ, ὃς κατὰ πρόσωπον μὲν ταπεινὸς ἐν ὑμῖν, ἀπὼν δὲ θαρρῶ εἰς ὑμᾶς· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:2 I ask that when I am present I need not be bold with the confidence with which I propose to be courageous against some, who regard us as if we walked according to the flesh. 2Co 10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (kjv) 2Co 10:3 Denn ob wir wohl im Fleisch wandeln, so streiten wir doch nicht fleischlicherweise. 2Co 10:3 ἐν σαρκὶ γὰρ περιπατοῦντες οὐ κατὰ σάρκα στρατευόμεθα _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (kjv) 2Co 10:4 Denn die Waffen unsrer Ritterschaft sind nicht fleischlich, sondern mächtig vor Gott, zu zerstören Befestigungen; 2Co 10:4 τὰ γὰρ ὅπλα τῆς στρατείας ἡμῶν οὐ σαρκικὰ ἀλλὰ δυνατὰ τῶ θεῶ πρὸς καθαίρεσιν ὀχυρωμάτων _ λογισμοὺς καθαιροῦντες ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (kjv) 2Co 10:5 wir zerstören damit die Anschläge und alle Höhe, die sich erhebt wider die Erkenntnis Gottes, und nehmen gefangen alle Vernunft unter den Gehorsam Christi 2Co 10:5 καὶ πᾶν ὕψωμα ἐπαιρόμενον κατὰ τῆς γνώσεως τοῦ θεοῦ, καὶ αἰχμαλωτίζοντες πᾶν νόημα εἰς τὴν ὑπακοὴν τοῦ χριστοῦ, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete. 2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:7 You are looking at things as they are outwardly. If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ's, so also are we. 2Co 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:8 For even if I boast somewhat further about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame, 2Co 10:8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: (kjv) 2Co 10:8 Und so ich auch etwas weiter mich rühmte von unsrer Gewalt, welche uns der HERR gegeben hat, euch zu bessern, und nicht zu verderben, wollte ich nicht zu Schanden werden. 2Co 10:8 ἐάν [τε] γὰρ περισσότερόν τι καυχήσωμαι περὶ τῆς ἐξουσίας ἡμῶν, ἧς ἔδωκεν ὁ κύριος εἰς οἰκοδομὴν καὶ οὐκ εἰς καθαίρεσιν ὑμῶν, οὐκ αἰσχυνθήσομαι, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:9 for I do not wish to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters. 2Co 10:9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters. 2Co 10:9 ἵνα μὴ δόξω ὡς ἂν ἐκφοβεῖν ὑμᾶς διὰ τῶν ἐπιστολῶν· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:10 For they say, "His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible." 2Co 10:10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:11 Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when absent, such persons we are also in deed when present. 2Co 10:11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:12 For we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding. 2Co 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:13 But we will not boast beyond our measure, but within the measure of the sphere which God apportioned to us as a measure, to reach even as far as you. 2Co 10:13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:14 For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we did not reach to you, for we were the first to come even as far as you in the gospel of Christ; 2Co 10:14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: (kjv) 2Co 10:14 Denn wir fahren nicht zu weit, als wären wir nicht gelangt zu euch; denn wir sind ja auch zu euch gekommen mit dem Evangelium Christi; 2Co 10:14 οὐ γὰρ ὡς μὴ ἐφικνούμενοι εἰς ὑμᾶς ὑπερεκτείνομεν ἑαυτούς, ἄχρι γὰρ καὶ ὑμῶν ἐφθάσαμεν ἐν τῶ εὐαγγελίῳ τοῦ χριστοῦ· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:15 not boasting beyond our measure, that is, in other men's labors, but with the hope that as your faith grows, we will be, within our sphere, enlarged even more by you, 2Co 10:15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly, (kjv) 2Co 10:15 und rühmen uns nicht übers Ziel hinaus in fremder Arbeit und haben Hoffnung, wenn nun euer Glaube in euch wächst, daß wir in unsrer Regel nach wollen weiterkommen 2Co 10:15 οὐκ εἰς τὰ ἄμετρα καυχώμενοι ἐν ἀλλοτρίοις κόποις, ἐλπίδα δὲ ἔχοντες αὐξανομένης τῆς πίστεως ὑμῶν ἐν ὑμῖν μεγαλυνθῆναι κατὰ τὸν κανόνα ἡμῶν εἰς περισσείαν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:16 so as to preach the gospel even to the regions beyond you, and not to boast in what has been accomplished in the sphere of another. 2Co 10:16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:17 But HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD. 2Co 10:17 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. (kjv) 2Co 10:17 Wer sich aber rühmt, der rühme sich des HERRN. 2Co 10:17 ὁ δὲ καυχώμενος ἐν κυρίῳ καυχάσθω· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 10:18 For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends. 2Co 10:18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.(kjv) 2Co 10:18 Denn darum ist einer nicht tüchtig, daß er sich selbst lobt, sondern daß ihn der HERR lobt. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:1 I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me. 2Co 11:1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:2 For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. 2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 2Co 11:2 ζηλῶ γὰρ ὑμᾶς θεοῦ ζήλῳ, ἡρμοσάμην γὰρ ὑμᾶς ἑνὶ ἀνδρὶ παρθένον ἁγνὴν παραστῆσαι τῶ χριστῶ· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. 2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:4 For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully. 2Co 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:5 For I consider myself not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles. 2Co 11:5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. 2Co 11:5 λογίζομαι γὰρ μηδὲν ὑστερηκέναι τῶν ὑπερλίαν ἀποστόλων· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:6 But even if I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in knowledge; in fact, in every way we have made this evident to you in all things. 2Co 11:6 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:7 Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you without charge? 2Co 11:7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely? Denn ich habe euch das Evangelium Gottes umsonst verkündigt 2Co 11:7 ἢ ἁμαρτίαν ἐποίησα ἐμαυτὸν ταπεινῶν ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑψωθῆτε, ὅτι δωρεὰν τὸ τοῦ θεοῦ εὐαγγέλιον εὐηγγελισάμην ὑμῖν; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:8 I robbed other churches by taking wages from them to serve you; 2Co 11:8 I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service. 2Co 11:8 ἄλλας ἐκκλησίας ἐσύλησα λαβὼν ὀψώνιον πρὸς τὴν ὑμῶν διακονίαν, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:9 and when I was present with you and was in need, I was not a burden to anyone; for when the brethren came from Macedonia they fully supplied my need, and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will continue to do so. 2Co 11:9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:10 As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be stopped in the regions of Achaia. 2Co 11:10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do! 2Co 11:11 Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth. (kjv) 2Co 11:11 Warum das? Daß ich euch nicht sollte liebhaben? ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:12 But what I am doing I will continue to do, so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting. 2Co 11:12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2Co 11:14 καὶ οὐ θαῦμα, αὐτὸς γὰρ ὁ σατανᾶς μετασχηματίζεται εἰς ἄγγελον φωτός· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:15 Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:16 Again I say, let no one think me foolish; but if you do, receive me even as foolish, so that I also may boast a little. 2Co 11:16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:17 What I am saying, I am not saying as the Lord would, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting. 2Co 11:17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:18 Since many boast according to the flesh, I will boast also. 2Co 11:18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:19 For you, being so wise, tolerate the foolish gladly. 2Co 11:19 For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise. 2Co 11:19 ἡδέως γὰρ ἀνέχεσθε τῶν ἀφρόνων φρόνιμοι ὄντες· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:20 For you tolerate it if anyone enslaves you, anyone devours you, anyone takes advantage of you, anyone exalts himself, anyone hits you in the face. 2Co 11:20 For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face. (kjv) 2Co 11:20 Ihr vertraget, so euch jemand zu Knechten macht, so euch jemand schindet, so euch jemand gefangennimmt, so jemand euch trotzt, so euch jemand ins Angesicht streicht. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:21 To my shame I must say that we have been weak by comparison. But in whatever respect anyone else is bold--I speak in foolishness--I am just as bold myself. 2Co 11:21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. 2Co 11:22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I. (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. (kjv) 2Co 11:23 Sie sind Diener Christi? Ich rede töricht: Ich bin's wohl mehr: Ich habe mehr gearbeitet, ich habe mehr Schläge erlitten, bin öfter gefangen, oft in Todesnöten gewesen; 2Co 11:23 διάκονοι χριστοῦ εἰσιν; παραφρονῶν λαλῶ, ὑπὲρ ἐγώ· ἐν κόποις περισσοτέρως, ἐν φυλακαῖς περισσοτέρως, ἐν πληγαῖς ὑπερβαλλόντως, ἐν θανάτοις πολλάκις· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 11:24 Five times I received from the Jews thirty-nine lashes. 2Co 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:3 And I know how such a man--whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows-- 2Co 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) (kjv) 2Co 12:3 Und ich kenne denselben Menschen (ob er im Leibe oder außer dem Leibe gewesen ist, weiß ich nicht; Gott weiß es); 2Co 12:3 καὶ οἶδα τὸν τοιοῦτον ἄνθρωπον _ εἴτε ἐν σώματι εἴτε χωρὶς τοῦ σώματος οὐκ οἶδα, ὁ θεὸς οἶδεν _ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:4 was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. 2Co 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (kjv) 2Co 12:5 Für denselben will ich mich rühmen; für mich selbst aber will ich mich nichts rühmen, nur meiner Schwachheit. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:6 For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me. 2Co 12:6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 2Co 12:6 ἐὰν γὰρ θελήσω καυχήσασθαι, οὐκ ἔσομαι ἄφρων, ἀλήθειαν γὰρ ἐρῶ· φείδομαι δέ, μή τις εἰς ἐμὲ λογίσηται ὑπὲρ ὃ βλέπει με ἢ ἀκούει [τι] ἐξ ἐμοῦ ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:7 Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me--to keep me from exalting myself! 2Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:8 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 2Co 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 2Co 12:8 ὑπὲρ τούτου τρὶς τὸν κύριον παρεκάλεσα ἵνα ἀποστῇ ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:9 And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:11 I have become foolish; you yourselves compelled me. Actually I should have been commended by you, for in no respect was I inferior to the most eminent apostles, even though I am a nobody. 2Co 12:11 I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. οὐδὲν γὰρ ὑστέρησα τῶν ὑπερλίαν ἀποστόλων, εἰ καὶ οὐδέν εἰμι· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:12 The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by signs and wonders and miracles. 2Co 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:13 For in what respect were you treated as inferior to the rest of the churches, except that I myself did not become a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong! 2Co 12:13 For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:14 Here for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I do not seek what is yours, but you; for children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but parents for their children. 2Co 12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not your's but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:15 I will most gladly spend and be expended for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less? 2Co 12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. εἰ περισσοτέρως ὑμᾶς ἀγαπῶ[ν], ἧσσον ἀγαπῶμαι; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:16 But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, crafty fellow that I am, I took you in by deceit. 2Co 12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:17 Certainly I have not taken advantage of you through any of those whom I have sent to you, have I? 2Co 12:17 Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you? 2Co 12:17 μή τινα ὧν ἀπέσταλκα πρὸς ὑμᾶς, δι᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐπλεονέκτησα ὑμᾶς; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:18 I urged Titus to go, and I sent the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselves in the same spirit and walk in the same steps? 2Co 12:18 I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps? 2Co 12:18 παρεκάλεσα τίτον καὶ συναπέστειλα τὸν ἀδελφόν· μήτι ἐπλεονέκτησεν ὑμᾶς τίτος; οὐ τῶ αὐτῶ πνεύματι περιεπατήσαμεν; οὐ τοῖς αὐτοῖς ἴχνεσιν; ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:19 All this time you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you. Actually, it is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ; and all for your upbuilding, beloved. 2Co 12:19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:20 For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances; 2Co 12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: (kjv) 2Co 12:20 Denn ich fürchte, wenn ich komme, daß ich euch nicht finde, wie ich will, und ihr mich auch nicht findet, wie ihr wollt; daß Hader, Neid, Zorn, Zank, Afterreden, Ohrenblasen, Aufblähen, Aufruhr dasei; 2Co 12:20 φοβοῦμαι γὰρ μή πως ἐλθὼν οὐχ οἵους θέλω εὕρω ὑμᾶς, κἀγὼ εὑρεθῶ ὑμῖν οἷον οὐ θέλετε, μή πως ἔρις, ζῆλος, θυμοί, ἐριθείαι, καταλαλιαί, ψιθυρισμοί, φυσιώσεις, ἀκαταστασίαι· ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 12:21 I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity, immorality and sensuality which they have practiced. 2Co 12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.(kjv) 2Co 12:21 daß mich, wenn ich abermals komme, mein Gott demütige bei euch und ich müsse Leid tragen über viele, die zuvor gesündigt und nicht Buße getan haben für die Unreinigkeit und Hurerei und Unzucht, die sie getrieben haben. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. EVERY FACT IS TO BE CONFIRMED BY THE TESTIMONY OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES. 2Co 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:2 I have previously said when present the second time, and though now absent I say in advance to those who have sinned in the past and to all the rest as well, that if I come again I will not spare anyone, 2Co 13:2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare: (kjv) 2Co 13:2 Ich habe es euch zuvor gesagt und sage es euch zuvor, wie, als ich zum andernmal gegenwärtig war, so auch nun abwesend schreibe ich es denen, die zuvor gesündigt haben, und den andern allen: Wenn ich abermals komme, so will ich nicht schonen; 2Co 13:2 προείρηκα καὶ προλέγω ὡς παρὼν τὸ δεύτερον καὶ ἀπὼν νῦν τοῖς προημαρτηκόσιν καὶ τοῖς λοιποῖς πᾶσιν, ὅτι ἐὰν ἔλθω εἰς τὸ πάλιν οὐ φείσομαι, ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:3 since you are seeking for proof of the Christ who speaks in me, and who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you. 2Co 13:3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:4 For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you. 2Co 13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:5 Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test? 2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:6 But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test. 2Co 13:6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:7 Now we pray to God that you do no wrong; not that we ourselves may appear approved, but that you may do what is right, even though we may appear unapproved. 2Co 13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth. 2Co 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:9 For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak but you are strong; this we also pray for, that you be made complete. 2Co 13:9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:10 For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present I need not use severity, in accordance with the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down. 2Co 13:10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:11 Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2Co 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:12 Greet one another with a holy kiss. 2Co 13:12 Greet one another with an holy kiss. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:13 All the saints greet you. 2Co 13:13 All the saints salute you. (kjv) 2Co 13:13 Es grüßen euch alle Heiligen. ------------------------------------------------------ 2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. 2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. ------------------------------------------------------
