EXACTLY my point.  The xj's have a few problems - track bars, seat frames
that break, a dashboard with the design style of a 76 Matador, etc...
they did have a crummy V-6 in them..  BUT all of that stuff is easily
dealt with (except the V-6).

But they are nimble off-road, ride well, handle GREAT, are much more economical
than our SJ's, easy to work on and these I-6 4.0L motors are incredible...

Mine has 160,000 miles on it, still starts and runs like new, doesn't use oil,
etc....

If someone were ignorant and prejudiced, they could easily slam an xj for
little things...  I went through quite a hassle learning about that track
bar...  easy to deal with now...

xj's are fine. sj's are great.  (I've got to xj wagoneers right now... and
only one sj...)
