On my 78 J-20 the oil pressure gauge stoped working... started working... was erratic... I pulled the instrument cluster out and the 2 nuts that hold the Oil gauge to the back of the cluster were loose! This is important because the nuts actually secure the gage both physically and electrically to the circuit board!!! Once tightened no problems! I dont know what model you have but you can try the above procedure... Don't forget to check your sending unit ... on my truck it's located on the oil filter block. I replaced mine when I rebuilt the truck for 12 dollars... Bert Garrison 78 J-20, 360 4bbl, T-18, D20 Edwards CA[Back to Top]

Your right, The correct formula to calcite CID is (pi) x radius squared x stroke x #of cylinders. (Sorry I can't find a way to do superscript). So divide your bore in half, square that and multiply by 3.14, then by the stroke, then by the 8. Jeff Herbst[Back to Top]
