I learn something new every day! One anomaly: the '78 Chero had the rectangular motor, and it had "Delco" stamped in the case. That's what threw me off. Question: does this mean the paddle switch I took out of the '78 will not work in my '87? I've not pulled the switch out of my Wag yet to see if the terminals are the same; the switch from the '78 has three. I am hoping to go with this system myself. I briefly drove a holley equipped FSJ (2bbl, adjustable but not programmable) and I was astonished by the throttle response. Brought the vehicle up to modern standards of performance, IMO. All I could say was "wow" then smile a lot. :) I've finally come around. Ray may recall when I used to dismiss EFI due to emissions issues. I now see it as the only way to go and if they don't pass me due to visual inspection, I'll swap back and forth between carb and EFI as necessary. :D Michael "Ray Drouillard" wrote: > > anyone out there running a pro-jection on an AMC 304 or 360??? id like > > to get an idea of it before i buy it. is it my only option for fuel > > injection on a 78??? also i live in AZ and id like to pass emissions. > > also did ya get more power??? better milage??? throttle response??? i > > have heard that it will fit on a 4bbl manifold but m not sure. right now > > im running an edelbrock manifold with an edelbrock performer carb. any > > info is very helpful and thanks. > > Joey > > I'm running it on my 360.
