My name is Jeremiah Westpfahl & I'm a FSJ-Newb. I've been lurking in the background of the AMC-List for some time & have finally gotten my hands on a 1988 Grand Wagoneer. I'm somewhat on the lookout for some parts for my Jeep so I can get it slicked up. I need a Drivers Front door latch since the spring is broken in mine & causes the door lock to settle down(from vibration or slamming the door) & lock itself, need the dash panel where the light switches snap in, my plastic snap tabs are broken off & the lights are hanging down by the brake pedal. Also would like to find a maroon/red underdash panel with the fresh air pull knobs on it, someone has overtorqued the retaining screws & now mine's hanging at an odd angle. Got more questions & wants but I'd better start off slowly. One more thing. I'm using Yahoo Mail & when I get the FSJ-List it causes some of my pull-down menus to bug out & turn to gibberish. Never had that happen before, what do I need to do to fix it? Thanks Miah Freeman, Mo. Yahoo! I finally spotted another FSJ today... only the 2nd one I've seen on the entire Island of Oahu. :) The first one was a black wide track Cherokee, the last one I saw was a nice white late model GW. I got a picture, but it's blurry... :( (guess I was all shook up... ;) aloha, john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** john-at-wagoneers.com via PINE on Linux **** http://wagoneers.com ** ** http://junkscience.com ** http://snopes.com ** http://freegift.net ** Snohomish, Washington USA ...don't leave life without Jesus, please... - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 May 2001 10:17:52 -0700 (PDT) From: Carnuck2-at-webtv.net (jim blair) Subject: fsj: Finally! (update) A: The Chev Ralley wheels are sold, and I forgot these: only 6 AMC 360 #707 rods resized, peened and balanced (I goofed and thought they would fit my stroker motor, but they are too narrow) $100 (cost me $200 for machine work and purchase); SM420 4 speed top loader from '71 Chev 3/4 ton truck $50; 3 speed side loader from '65 GMC bus $50; '86 Jeep Comanche pickup (2nd owner) AMC 4 cyl with EFI, 5 speed, 2 WD, PS/PB 160,000 well cared for miles (less than 1/2 a quart between oil changes, and I go -at-70 + mph to Canada and back frequently) Comes with SOA rear axle from '87 Cherokee (Comanches are SUA stock), and front axle from the same (3.08 gears, but the Comanche now has 4.10 rear) asking $3000 obo (I'm only selling it so I can complete my J10 stroker project) ************************************* JimBlair, Seattle,WA '84 J10, '86 Comanche http://www.geocities.com/eaglemania2002/ http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=13998 ************************************** ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #1332 **************************
