The joke in Canada is the commercial for Canadian Tire (AKA Flat tire and Korean tire) say they sell everything BUT tires! (Well they do, but only for bicycles!) From: Landon Tesar OK, anyone know of some tires for the Willys ? Stock size is 6.50 x 16. Radials are preferred. Looks like it's slim pickings. Lots of them are made overseas, but few imported. Jim, what is the deal with Canadian Tire - they don't have any tires ? :) http://www.canadiantire.com They could call it 'Canadian Blender', or 'Canadian Food Processor, or just about anything else. - - - Landon ************************************* JimBlair, Seattle,WA '84 J10, '86 Comanche http://www.geocities.com/eaglemania2002/ http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=13998 ************************************** ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 7 Dec 2001 10:18:06 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: fsj: '72 Wagoneer - no engine... anyone north of seattle interested in a good deal on a dead '72? no engine... it's up in mt. vernon, they're asking $200 right now and pleading with me to drag it away... I grew up along the river in western Iowa. Can't help you from here but there is a chance near Onawa, IA (Decatur, NE). My brother lives near there and has a 3/4 ton ch*$y and a trailer. He helped me locate the Rez Runner near there. Let me know off list if you want my brother's name and number just in case..... I could warn him of a Jeep Brother on the move and sweet talk him. His trailer might be able to haul your Willy's if you have too much trouble. - --Vince '81 SJ '99 TJ - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Landon Tesar" To: Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2001 9:55 AM Subject: fsj: Willys pickup > Hi, > > well, I won the auction for the '59 Willys, and finally heard > from the seller.
