It did not run but with a little work I have it up and running strong (embarassed a 69' mustang gt350). My plans are to lift it and make it a hunting rig. The body is rough but thats ok. Is there still a fsj club in portland, Oregon? My 95 cev pickup with a diesel died and my wifes 96 honda was leaking oil but the wagoneer is still running strong any help with places that have parts or any one who has done a spring over conversion would be great Thank You ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2001 22:12:57 -0800 From: "Brian Turner" Subject: fsj: how'it If this site is not protecting the white house, I'm in. A: If anyone needs 2.72 gears (close to Seattle or between here and Abbotsford BC along I-5) I have a '85 GW M20 rear diff with 2.72 for $75 (axle tube needs welding in place) I also have 3.07 M20 gears and carrier (very worn) that someone can have for $20. I believe I still have D44 gears and D30 (forward and reverse cut) same ratio. I'm debating selling both my '84 GW rear (80K 3.31 open M20) and the matching set from the Vac operated D44 front. (I'd have to get $200 for both though, as the money goes towards the 4.10 gears I want) If I get the 4.10, then I will be going with 38" tires instead of the brand new 33"/10.5/16" I bought last year, that haven't even rolled yet. (I can put them on Black Jack w/o putting in the 3" spring lift I had custom made!) Maybe I should just sell the springs, tires and axles as a package (anyone got $1700 to spare? I'll still lose $700 over what I paid for them all) do the SOA front I've been planning, put in the 4.10 (with a stronger rear axle conversion. I saw a D60 with 6 bolt pattern full floater the other day) and 38" tires. From: Alexander Wall What's the axle gearing on the crunched Waggy? Are there any modifications required? I am looking a grille for my '89 Grand Wag. I was wondering if the style (from a few years older model) that has the vertical rung type (as on the '83 style Cherokee) grille would interchange with mine. This photo http://www.ifsja.org/readers/cherokees/blair.shtml shows the grille stykle that I am looking for, doesn't have to be the exact year (if there are others), but I would like the similar style. If anyone has one for sale or access to one for sale I would like to buy one. I appreciate your comments/feedback.
