There are plenty of folks in the midwest... some near enough to join CFSJA on our trail runs once in awhile, but honestly there's nothing wrong with getting together over lunch or doing a highway cruise in the ol' rigs like other car clubs. OTOH I think there is at least one fancy commercial off-road park in the midwest (KS?) Michael "R.J. Baynum" wrote: > HI!.. > Nope.. D35 rear for parts $25 (blown ring and pinion and maybe carrier, but I have spare gear sets and the axles are non-c-clip IIRC. Anyone want 2.37 ratio? LOL!) I have the grey tailgate speaker cover panel (it had Jensens) $5 and shift console $10 (I had the boot, but not sure where it is. I'm making a cupholder and universal boot mount for mine as I went back to bench seat. Much nicer for trips to Canada and back!) I have both front doors (power stuff stripped out but still has glass) $25 pair. Rear antiswaybar $25, same for front with good links $20. I'll probably sell the grey tilt column, but I want the cruise for my Comanche. (new column switch unit is $90!) with doorlocks and glovebox door. (key went with rear hatch, but they all match) I have the powerbrake booster and master $25. Both tail lights $20 each (I have another here someplace too) I didn't save the roof rack or the other glass (they busted the windshield when the loader picked it off my trailer) Speaking of trailers, I have the frame from a homemade boat trailer (I didn't get the title) that needs a new coupler (popped off my truck while hauling the shell down the hill) that has a decent axle under it, 2-8' wide axles with tires and brakes I was going to make a car trailer out of (with the boat trailer frame and some beefing up), a hand crank boat winch and the front 1/2 off another trailer I was going to weld under this one for extra strength. Whole works for $50! I also have the front axle from the 2WD Cherokee for $35 w/o brakes (unless I get the other 4x4 one today. I have 4" (will I need LCA work??) front lift springs coming, so I can put the SOA rear axle under my Comanche for 4"+ of rear lift, and the front will have to match! The rest of the stuff I have is mostly big Jeep (seperate list) and misc Chev Blazer drivetrain parts and my old shop tools (5 HP 220V antique shop compressor, tire machine, Allen engine scope, antique battery rack and loaded tune-up cabinet, and a pile of antique Holley and Carter carbs) ************************************* JimBlair, Seattle,WA '84 J10, '86 Comanche http://www.geocities.com/eaglemania2002/ http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=13998 ************************************** ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 Jan 2002 07:11:09 -0800 (PST) From: Carnuck-at-webtv.net (James Blair) Subject: fsj: Re: Cherokee, in French... still means Jeep :) A: Okay, out comes the Canajun-English dictionary (pardon me while I brush the cobwebs off that part of my brain.
