A: The 1/2 ton 14 bolt is totally different than the 3/4 ton version. Not even
the covers exchange!

    I'm just curious, having pulled the guts out of both the 14bolt AND a
d44,
how any machinist can say the 44 is superior. From the pinion support to the
hubs, 14bolts are just burlier. Whay say said machinists?
