It'll run at least $800 for the pair, and that's if the dollar doesn't slip too much against the canadian dollar. I had my fenders made into forms for a guy up in BC. I've got a brand new set for my J10 too... My old fenders are good and I might be willing to let them go after we make sure the new ones will work for about $500 for the pair. They were repaired in order to make the mold. The new fenders are reinforced in the areas that the old ones cracked. It could take a while to get them made, the guy up there is kind of slow and I'll have drive up there to get them. I think we can ship them via Greyhound once I get them on this side of the border, but we'll have to have a box made somehow... ttyl, john On Mon, 19 Apr 2004, darrell magneson wrote: >-->Hello John, I have been looking for a left rear fender for my J10 for about 10 years. Having just got married, my wife obtained a computer, and I thought it would be a good way to search for this rare part. The right fender isn't too good, but it is repairable. I backed into a tree a long time ago, and broke out about half of the left fender. The police around here haven't gave me much trouble yet, but with a 383 magnum engine, I do attract a lot of attention. The original 360 needed a rebuild, and I had the 383 and A727-B trans in stock, so I did the swap. Tons of power, very fast through mud pits, but likes to run hot in the summer. I would like to return the truck to original condition, so I would like to know if you could help me out. >--> >--> Thanks, >--> D.J. >--> >--> >--> >--> >--> >-->--------------------------------- >-->Post your free ad now! I have gleaned much wisdom from everyone's input, so I wanted to say thank you for creating this great forum. Just picked up my first FSJ couple of moths ago with the full intention of making a it a functional (daily driver) restoration. We'll see how long I last. Anyway, It's a 69 Wagoneer and has spent it's life in New Mexico, so there is almost no rust on this vehicle. That said, I live in New York and the elements are brutal here. I am looking to preserve the metal as most of the original paint is warn well through. I've done a lot of homework and anti-rust products. POR 15 has a lot of prep work needed and I cam across this stuff called "Rust Bullet". Anyway, I ordered a batch of the stuff to throw layer of protection on the Wagoneer as the temperature is rising to level conducive to do so. I will also be replacing all the rubber and seals before winter gets near. Just wanted to know if anyone has used Rust Bullet and if they were happy with the results? If I'm the Guinea pig, then I'll post some before and after pics along with my findings. Thanks in advance for any feedback. The interior is completely out of it right now because the current owner just finished replacing all of the floor boards. I would like to make this Jeep my road trip vehicle and I want a really nice interior in it. I'd love to hear some ideas from some of you guys and maybe even see some pictures of what you would do to make a really cool interior in a Waggy... Well, some of us once discussed running custom heat and cooling ducts through the middle to the back seat. You'd lose the middle front as a seat and have to make a custom center console, but it wouldn't be that difficult, just a bit time-consuming. Could use a variety of air duct materials to pipe the air through the bottom of the console. Anybody already try this? I also would kinda like to add an internal roll cage with 4- or 5-pt harnesses to my '74, but I probably wouldn't actually need them (by the time I get it that customized, I'm not going to want to do anything quite risky enough to roll it, despite wanting to build it up as even more of a trail beast). And if you want it "nice" for road trips, that's probably not the kind of mod you're looking for. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Never try to reason with your cat while fixing a bowl of cereal for breakfast.
