At least the second one had a general thing in the subject line. I suppose the first one _technically_ did, but the junk that actually went through looked like... well, junk, to avoid inappropriate language. It's nice to have a description of the link right by the actual link, in the body... In the first couple of pages of Datson's "The American Motors 6/V8 Performance Engine Book", there is a shot of a neat little tubing bridge between the rear oil galley plugs. Have not read the usefulness of it yet. A few pages after that there is an incredily poor drawing of the modification to the rear cam bearing. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Jan 2005 23:55:07 -0700 From: "Tacoma White" Subject: fsj: can anyone help this guy in Chicago? It's a long shot but I got some email from a guy in Chicago, wanting to buy my 79 NT axles. They were sold, so I told him I'd look around for another set. Then I got thinking, why not put him in touch with the far-reaching octopus-like arms of the best mailing list in the universe, dealing with the best trucks ever made? so here's the skinny: guy near Chicago (southwest side? I think) is in dire need of a pre-80 NT 44 OR a 44 that will fit a CJ. He's going to cut and narrow the NT axle. There is a small finder's fee at stake as well I think. Lemme know! Thanks everyone.
