When I get some time I'm going to research sources for components for WVO, but as prices climb biodiesel at the pump is making more ane more sense... The pictures shows two filters setup both with 15-30 microns. So far no clogging problems on stock filers on either the Benz or the Jimmy, so this is a very good sign... I tried this on my VW Rabbit in the early 80's and clogged my filter big time... the engine stopped running on the highway... was a bear to get started again. :) john also copied Fred's Dodge/Cummins project pix there... will add details on 6.2's, etc over time... john On Tue, 6 Sep 2005, Jim Hoffman wrote: >-->Hey John, >--> >--> Where did you get your pump and filter system? Located in Port Lincoln, South Australia. Vehicle is unregistered but would probably be drivable with attention to tuning and manifolds. It has an LPG conversion with some new parts but the gas cylinder is well out of date. For those of you who know SA, I drove the vehicle from Wallaroo to Port Lincoln a couple of years ago. I used it for a couple of months before fumes from a gap between the manifolds and from leaky fuel tank hoses got the better of me. I'm not a mechanic and it needs some basic attention which is beyond my personal skill level. The vehicle is almost entirely original and if I can't find a buyer soon, I'll start breaking it up and putting the parts on Ebay. Basically, I've decided not to put any more money into this vehicle and I'll consider any reasonable offer to reclaim that bit of my shed for other projects. If anyone in Oz is interested, please contact me at warrigal-at-sa.chariot.net.au for more detailed information. I will provide fairly comprehensive photos, full disclosure of work completed and all known problems. I am prepared to arrange delivery to a suitable vehicle transporter.
