I am ashamed to admit I started this project around 2002 or 2003. :-) Moving forward, should I just chuck what I have and start over or is there a more frugal way to go. btw, I still have the Dana 44 closed knuckle (currently - gears) if anyone is interested. My work/storage space is very limited so it will go cheap if you pick it up. btw2, I have about 17 years in the reserves and I am just hoping I can last another 3 to qualify for retirement. It is amazing the amount of unpaid time I spend and the amount of political correctness currently in the military. It will also have an 8 bolt lug pattern, although you can get disc conversions with a 6 bolt patter, but then you still have a wider axle that needs the perches moved. For a couples of years now I have been downloading it from the internet and avoiding the obligatory 20 minutes worth of commercials. Two ways to go about viewing the next episodes, commercial free, and even catch up on older ones that you may have missed. During the season, you can use the Newsgroups to download and view the current series. It is often posted within a day of the broadcast. The ISP Newsgroups servers are retention challenged and they may not keep posts for more than 24 to 48 hours. However, at a price, premium Newsgroup services will have up to few weeks of retention. The newsgroups I download Top Gear from are. Alt.binaries.multimedia and Alt.binaries.documentaries. I use Forte Agent http://www.forteinc.com/main/homepage.phpto manage the Newsgroups download and WinRar http://www.rarlab.com/ to process the download. The BBC has a second program called Fifth Gear. It also runs in 2 series per year and it is worth watching. If Newsgroups are inconvenient you can always install e-mule for free from http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1and and search/download your favorite programs. You can find the current season as well as a may older episodes dating back a couple of years at least. Keep in mind that e-mule is a file sharing software and avoid violating the copyrighted material.
