i was mainly curious if the seat rails themselves will fit nicely beside the
tranny hump.  i know i'll have to cut off some of the stock ZJ bracketry and
fab up some floor mounts, but that doesn't bother me.

you're pretty much stuck with the seat base for whatever it's in, build up from there.

AAAAAHH!!

i got that, john.   :p

i'll be using the ZJ rails (bases), as they are power on both seats.  the
stock ZJ brackets that actually bolt to the floor will have to be modified,
i'm sure.  i was just mainly concerned if the ZJ electric seat rails will
fit beside the tranny hump, or if there will be interferance there.  or
maybe i'll have to modify the tranny hump a bit to get the seat rails to
slide fully front to back.

well, there is always that really large hammer...  the fine tuning
adjustment tool.  comes in several versions, 4, 6, and 8 lb.  :)
if that fails, there is always the hot wrench or a sawzall. :)
