That was a different accident from the one where that woman was crushed in
Kenmore. Police are still investigating what caused that hwy 2 accident by
Skykomish and another one today where some jerk in a yellow convertible cut
off a truck, causing it to roll on the highway.

INDEX, Wash. -- The driver of a semi truck was killed late Monday when the truck he was driving lost control along U.S. 2 and crashed into the Skykomish River.
Trooper Kirk Rudeen with the Washington State Patrol says the truck was heading west from Stevens Pass when it went over a jersey barrier, clipped a tree, then rolled down a 150- to 200-foot embankment and into the Skykomish River.
The driver's cab was completely submerged and troopers said the driver, 35-year-old Sekhan Kuldip, of Surrey, British Columbia, died at the scene.
Crews spent Tuesday morning pulling the truck cab out of the river, but are still working to remove parts of the trailer and tons of apples it was carrying.

It's going to be my replacement for my '73 J4000 (which I will be parting
soon. I'm keeping a few major components like the J20 D60 rear and
motor/trans. Front D44 with original 5 lug and drum brakes is for sale)
My '84 J10 out of it's temporary cocoon at my cabin. (I needed the
carport/garage to install the motor from the '85 XJ 2 dr I'm parting into my
first MJ, the white '86 longbox with 2.5L TBI and 5 speed I converted to 4x4
and lifted 3". The MJ will be up for sale as soon as it's running again)
