Reminded me of Lyn at Christmas time in '99. _________________________________________________________________ Share your special parenting moments! http://www.reallivemoms.com?ocid=TXT_TAGHM&loc=us ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 3 Sep 2007 14:03:55 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: fsj: Re: Diesel Wagoneer a friend in Sweden did this, he actually found one that had a volvo turbo on a 240D engine in a Wagoneer. another guy put the 5 cyl Diesel into an MJ... oil pan and steering got in the way and had to be worked around. should be pretty simple in a full size jeep though, plenty of room. depending on the gear ratio of the Wagoneer it might be ok... http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/SWEDISH-FSJ/tommy-98-1.jpg http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/SWEDISH-FSJ/tommy-98-2-240td.jpg john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- On Mon, 3 Sep 2007, Eric L wrote: # I just bought a beautiful '72 wagoneer that only has # 86,000 miles so I should get a few years out of it but # I'm starting to collect parts for a diesel conversion. # I owned an '84 MB 300 turbo diesel with only 80,000 # miles and loved it but my x-wife traded it off.
