(I'd hate to see you work on refrigerators jon ;) When I got home the taillight was still glowing.... so I opened the trunk, pushed the switch the light went out... curious... closed the trunk, the light was on... so I opened the trunk, light was on... held the switch down... light went off... kept my finger on the switch and lowered the lid... when it got to about two inches to closing, the light came ON! mystery solved... jon, you're de man! I bet there is a short in that wiring harness that's grounding out when the lid gets closed, I'll pop the cover off the inside of the trunk lid and trace it out. If it runs down the left side it's possible that I snagged it with a bungie cord hauling veggie oil. :) I will be out fixing the big Blue Jeep and using it to pull up the retaining wall tomorrow... homework is all done for this quarter... I swapped out the LCD display in my new laptop (craigslist bargain, broken lcd)... guess I received the wrong part, close, only off by a little bit... didn't light up and just heated up the cable... but tech support for the ebay store out of dallas responded to my email already! (9pm seattle time~!) the guy must not sleep... impressed with the service(so far)! Smart-Micro USA out of Carroliton, TX.
