I replaced some bulbs in the dash, etc. took it out for a test run and it was doing pretty well, definetly need to replace the injectors as a starting point... can hear one of them misbehaving found a source on ebay, also have a local shop... just not running right, but did hit almost 70 going up the hill... ...coming back down the highway pulling into my drive I decided to test the brakes... got on 'em pretty hard, not hard enough to lock up the tires... ...didn't really notice that I had a problem until about halfway across my field... when I applied the brakes the jeep pulled right... hmmm... tried it again... right... dang, that's not good... wonder what's causing that... pulled into the carport, saw a little bit more smoke than usual... went to turn it off and noticed that the oil pressure was zero... that's odd... shut it off and got out and then noticed that there was oil on the left front tire... and a big puddle of oil on the floor under the jeep... and behind it... and up the driveway... all the way up the drive to the highway... where I hit the brakes... :( yep, didn't hit the brakes hard enough to lock the tires, but hard enough to puncture the oil filter and dent the exhaust... :( so what I really, really need is an oil filter relocation kit and a lift kit... and a vacuum pump... and injectors, maybe a pump... guess I'm I'm driving my 300D to work tomorrow. :) john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3013 **************************
