Diesel is at $4.13 - 4.15 now... saw it for $3.99 at a safeway in Everett.... what is Diesel costing elsewhere in the WORLD??? Europe? Australia? (don't care as much about gas, but would like to know... it's about $3.51 here) john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Mar 2008 20:49:05 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: fsj: RE: [WJ-Grand] Towing Mirrors? I agree with you about the WJ. When we loaded up my '67 J100 Panel on my neighbors flatbed and hauled it up we didn't have the Jeep far enough forward on the trailer to put a good load on the hitch... was a very uncomfortable 100 miles... keep the speed down to about 50 or so and it was happy. http://wagoneers.com/fotos/2007/12-Dec-22-Rambo-n-Omega/Rambo-in-tow/ALL.html When my son got home from the Air Force he had a u-haul trailer, loaded up my '91 Grand Wagoneer with the 6.2L Diesel on it, the weight was further forward and more weight was on the hitch... it handled much better. http://wagoneers.com/fotos/2008/01-Jan-19-mark-snow-omega_recovery/P1150161.jpg john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- On Sun, 16 Mar 2008, Don wrote: # I pull about 5,000 - 5,300 lbs with my 2000 WJ.
