(wife won't let me keep it and stay married to her) I found a nice little Geo Tracker (same rig as the Suzuki Samurai) for $1000 that's already auto 4x4, but I can't get it unless I get rid of my other toys. With gas heading past $4 a gallon just in time for the election, it's going to be tough to sell my '81 Chev C20 with 454/TH400 and since it's not 4x4, it's not practical for a daily driver, even on LPG. There is "supposed" to be an adapter ring for the 232 to the TH400 nailhead trans.
