The PO wasn't too impressed by the PPO. :) http://wagoneers.com/fotos/2008/11-Nov-22-1980-J10/ The good news is the engine looks good, has two good axles and apparently good running gear... frame looks ok, but I'm not sure if the stepside bed will mount on this frame, suspect it will, but we'll see... if it runs well and brakes work and all, then I'll just put SuperDawg's body on this frame and either part the rest or fix and use these parts on superdawg's old frame... the rear bumper has a receiver hitch, might use it on my trailer... :) looks good in the carport... the hood is over on the side of the carport, it wasn't bolted on... Need to push it over to the side a bit more and back so I can at least get my Mercedes in and keep the windshield clear for the mornings. :) I got one of four courses mostly done today, three more to go then I can get my wrenches out and get this J10 out of my shop under its own power... :) john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://johnmeister.com/fotomeister - Trust Jesus: http://freegift.com SAVE power, avoid viruses, use LINUX: http://johnmeister.com/tmcp.pdf SAVE fuel, use synthetics: http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Nov 2008 13:27:24 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: fsj: international safety violations got this from a friend, put it on my server temporarily... it's got a number of classics on it... :) like the one of that guy welding under a truck held up by 2x4s... and other "classics". http://wagoneers.com/tmp/SafetyAwards.pdf enjoy... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://johnmeister.com/fotomeister - Trust Jesus: http://freegift.com SAVE power, avoid viruses, use LINUX: http://johnmeister.com/tmcp.pdf SAVE fuel, use synthetics: http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3209 **************************
