BUT... I know I want superdawg and a pickup... however, my wife would prefer a Grand Wagoneer, at least over SuperDawg... actually she'd probably prefer NOT having any full size jeeps and living with what we have... :) but this one is beautiful... interior needs to be reworked, but that's not too hard... I got it around the same time I got Omega... it drove better, rode better, looked better, but Omega got the nod because it was already in the process of getting the 6.2... have to think long and hard... I could move the '89's 360 to superdawg and put the sd33t in Old Blue II... but do I want to do that? I've had nice GWs... they don't work for hauling WVO, bikes or other stuff... without a trailer. this GW was sweet... perfect body... but it had wiring and interior issues, most of which I fixed... but if memory serves me right this thing drove out nicer than the majority of FSJs I've owned... out of 26 of them there's only been about three that drove nicely... old blue, superdawg, one other fsj I can't remember which one, and this one... but a pickup is really what I prefer, and need with all the garden stuff... I'm thinking out loud, I know the Diesel in Superdawg is the way to go, the ultimate FSJ setup... been down this path several times... Superdawg will get better mileage, less weight... maybe not as comfortable though, can't recline the seats or carry passengers... passengers or Wvo? tough call, ;) but still... curtis isn't making tremendous progress and this might help him out... all he'd have to do is assemble superdawg and I'd drag the chassis/body home and move the v8 into it... in the meantime I could run down and grab the SD33T/tf727/np208 and mount and pull the 360 and drop the diesel in... lot of work... staying the course makes more sense... and saves money... just have to wait on curtis... :( not sure I'll have enough money to buy the '89 back after paying the bills for the '00 WJ that sold today anyway... we'll see... realistically I don't see Old Blue II in my future... and eagerly await SuperDawg's return... in the meantime I need to fix what I have already in the drive. ;) keep the popcorn fresh. ;) ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Feb 2010 08:05:41 -0800 (PST) From: diesel john Subject: fsj: Re: [CJ-10List] 1986 CJ-10a 6.2 diesel on waggy chassis New Jersey nicely done... my cj-10a sold for $6500 with the stock engine/trans and a few mods... will share this with a few other folks... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Wed, 24 Feb 2010, smacmoyle1 wrote: # Testing the waters on ebay. please pass along to anyone you think might be interested.
