Sadly it rotted apart on me after I spent a LOT of money re-powering it (I went through a motor per pay period, trying to make it go faster) From: diesel john Subject: xj: Fw: Volkswagen camper van marks 60 years of production (fwd) this is one of those brilliant moments in automotive history... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8704175.stm I actually had one of these for a brief time, I think I was going to turn it into a trailer, but someone bought it from me before I could do it harm.... as long as you're not stuck behind on in traffic facing a hill, they are very cool rigs... not exactly the safest vehicle on the road... but then again, are most little cars? john _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail is redefining busy with tools for the New Busy. I've got a pile of the abrasive cutting blades, have used them to cut some serious metal... just used a masonary blade to cut some blocks for a retaining wall... they sell those blades separately... I have one from sears or home depot, that rascals tosses some HOT shards of metal all over the place... I used it to cut the 1/4" plate steel on the tub of the tug! WORKED GREAT. john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Fri, 4 Jun 2010, Jerry Kaidor wrote: # > got the part number/link? # # http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/itemdisplay/displayItem.do?itemid=8897&CategoryName=&SubCategoryName= # # Part #8897.
