I'd recommend one for an SJ, but beware of low mileage units used for short commutes... when I first saw the WJ at Jeep 101 in Seattle I was impressed... only beef is the lack of visibilty... pedestrian sized blind spot. :) john - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Wed, 12 Jan 2011, JeepNut wrote: # John it's the 4.7 you like so much right? # ... no wonder...if you can believe # what you read in a thread on a forum it sounds more Jeep than Chrysler... # http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12313 # # # JeepNut # ---------------------------------------------------------- # '92 Cherokee # Laredo, bought new, an heirloom. I tried many of the recommendations provided 5 or 6 years ago... but I think the problem is in the build, it's suse 10.1 or .2... FWIW, I don't want anything to do with RedHat... would prefer SuSE or some other popular major distro that has good support/reputation and a future. has to be simple to configure, don't have time to RTM or configure... I have the disk for OpenSuse 11.3 sitting here, have three systems running it well... just need to upgrade my system and properly configure sendmail/POP and setup a spam filter... is that even possible in SuSE?? the requirements are: - ---------------------------- ssh, sendmail/POP, spam filter, apache2, old school config files in /etc and a decent admin tool like yast maybe able to run rpm and deb packages, full GNU suite... GUI desktop, prefer KDE. what recommendations for the mail server & spam filter? I want to be able to use ONE email address that will work with Thunderbird, the web, my blackberry and of course the lists. I'm comfortable with sendmail, aliases and forwarding via /etc/aliases... but am pretty clueless about POP/IMAP and even which one I want to use. I have to have a good spam filter if I'm going to use this email, it's been around since 1997 and gets a lot... Recommend replying directly to me... john at wagoneers.com will work... replying to the list will only entertain the one or two folks that understand and irritate the rest. :) oh, mlc... emissions tested the '91 300D today, 2% opacity, max allowed 20%, that's with 267,500 miles on the clock, last oil change was a while back (amsoil), haven't even cleaned the air filter in five, six, seven years??? ever??? 30 mpg in town... the wj got it's new stickers attached... might go and look at that diesel xj tomorrow if my son has time, just for grins... no word on superdawg, the SD33T is in the frame attached to the 727... and I'm thinking the tdi will break 40mpg again next tank... let's see... dbl, xj, wj, fsj, cj-10... that covers it all, in compliance... ;) ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3684 **************************
