Another Pro-Jected Wag running around the Detroit area! John, tell me about this Mallory ignition. Do they make one that uses a GM HEI module? All I need is something that will successfully feed my HEI module (that has been sitting on my fender well doing nothing), and I'll be able to use the Holley box to control my spark advance. I see that you set yours up about the same as mine. The original fuel lines are very usable, and the O2 sensor is, indeed, well out of the way of harm. The only difference is that I have a three inch exhaust system following the whole mess. By the way, I believe that my cat is plugged. If you still have yours, and are not feeding it any air from your air pump, yours will probably get plugged, too. I'm going to have my gutted as soon as I get around to getting it to the shop (it's welded in, so I can't do it myself). Did you replace the return line with bigger line? Theoretically, you should, but I didn't. I haven't had any problems with it. What did you use to go from the fuel hardline to the fuel injecter? I used standard fuel hose. I slipped it over the hardline, overlapped it about six inches, and double-clamped it. I calculated the force trying to seperate the rubber hose from the hard line (I forgot, but I think that it was around a pound or to), and concluded that there was no way that it was going to blow off of the end. Did you find that very verbose bunch of writing that I sent you useful at all? It's mine. The motor is the smoothest I've ever seen... It is a lot peppier than Old Blue was. :) Needs some TLC... but mostly pretty decent. There is a clunking coming from the right side when I turn the wheel... not sure, got a hunch it's in the springs... feel like it's under the passenger seat. :) I'll definetly be using my leather seats. The seat in the J10 has a bit of sag on the drivers side. :) WEll, gotta run... btw, my wife is doing ok, not better, but not worse... still trying to get her to fly down adn drive back with me... probably not gonna happen... :( later, john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- john-at-wagoneers.com **** http://wagoneers.com don't leave life without Jesus, please... I am using a basic Mallory Unilite. It drives a stock coil without the need for a brain box. Mallory has a web-site, maybe they have another distrib for you. http://www.mrgasket.com/mal.htm > I see that you set yours up about the same as mine. > The original fuel > lines are very usable, and the O2 sensor is, indeed, > well out of the way > of harm.
