The little wagoneer is going in to Jim Startup's in Everett on Tuesday for the rear main, will have them install new rear wheel bearings and check out the disc conversion, if they condemn it, I'll go back to drums ASAP. john - ----------------------------------------------------- john-at-wagoneers.com http://www.wagoneers.com ...don't leave life without Jesus, please! I'd love to have the plow setup, of course I'm not sure why I'd need it... since '96 we haven't really had much in the way of snow... :( Had one very minor dusting a couple months ago... it's mid 40's now... worst I've seen this year is black ice... Not much really to "look out for" on these old FSJ's. They leak oil, usually have vacuum leaks and so on. I recommend the newest you can afford, and at least a 74 or up so you get disc brakes. In 80 they switched to the Torqueflite transmissions and New Process transfer cases... one out of two ain't bad. I'm growing to dislike the Torqueflites... they are not nearly as durable as the Turbo Hydramatics. :) BTW, where are you?
