Otherwise it's pretty much a slam dunk. I think that the starters are even on the same side. I think valve guides, Maybe a good check for seals is when you are accelerating or stopping, sloshing the oil around inside the valve cover allows it to leak down past the seals and into the cylinders. You'll note this when coming to a stop and a big blue cloud passes your window.
