I was looking through the recent Buy & Sell, and I found several diesels going cheap. A GM 453 (4 cyl, 53 cubes each) and an IH as well as a Nissan 6 cyl (I figure it would be a snap to put in a 4.0L XJ because they use the same trans with a different bellhousing) and a variety of other less well known ones (Even a 6 cyl standby generator from the airport) Don't know why I look. I don't care for the stench of diesel! I'd sooner smell the fresh bread scent of a properly set up propnae system. Make sure you just plug/cover the hole without pushing any through (don't want JBWeld inside), but I didn't have any problems. And it never leaked after that. And as an off-topic sidenote, I still do most of my email using mh on alphas (osf unix for those unfamiliar with the unix world), and I still think Microsoft is horrible in the Wintel world, but since '98, their Mac team has done some incredible work (yes, it's extremely ironic), and MIE5 (and even 4.5) and Outlook Express 5 on the Mac absolutely ROCK! A) '69 Ford pickup, B) '73 Chevrolet pickup, C) '86 J10. 3. If your uncle builds a still that operates at a capacity of 20 gallons of shine per hour, how many FSJ radiators are necessary to condense the product? For bonus points, how many miles per gallon of it would a 401 get? 4. A pulpwood cutter has a chain saw that operates at 2700 rpm. The density of the pine trees in a plot to be harvested is 470 per acre. The plot is 2.3 acres in size. The average tree diameter is 14 inches. How many Pabst Blue Ribbons will be consumed in cutting the trees? And how many J30s will it take to haul the whole works to the mill? How many M715s? 5. Since I didn't realize that I would need to do this prior to removing *all* the wire in the truck I'm not sure which wire goes where in the plug and I'm looking for some help from the list. I still have wires connected in the old plug so I know what colors went on what connectors, but am still abit in the dark. Here is what I know: I have the following wires to be connected: - -dome ground - -dash panel lights - -tail and parking lights - -battery feed for tail, parking and dash lights - -headlight feed - -battery feed The back of the original switch has the following labels, with old wire colors in (parens), and my best guess as to the curcuit in : B (red wire/white stripe) P (blue wire) B2 (2 wires, brown and black) D (black/yellow) R (2 wires, both yellow) unmarked 1 (green wire) unmarked2 (rheostat connection) any help? I would gladly trade this info for the pinout info on the steering column and nuetral switch wiring Thanks, Mike __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
