In my madness a couples of weeks ago I decided to contact a Importation
agent, a business office that can handle all the mess of buying commodities
somewhere in the world and make it arrive at my home door.

There's a law in my country that specially prevents me to import used
vehicles, I can only import new ones (which I don't care), GRRRRRRRRR!!!!.

I hope someday I can find a way to buy one of these jeeps and drive it in
my country.

Ernesto.

that's the townside(?) bed from the '60's, same as a Willys pickup box.

Could have come from a mid-60's J-truck, or maybe it was a military special...

has a T-90... too bad they didn't come with overdrives back then. nice truck...

it's basically the same box as on my '83 stepside, but with different fenders
and fuel filler location... 7' long bed... interesting place for the spare tire...
I was thinking on the Driver's side, but that makes more sense...

john

I've become careful about how I get in vehicles. You'll only need to whack your head once or so to realize that's not fun.

Drove the J10 into town, just realized that it has a better ride than any of our recent and current vehicles. Quite sad when a 28 year old jeep pickup rides better than a benz, jetta or liberty. :)

Otherwise, I'm happy with the current suite of wheels.

I had the same issue with the wife's CRD.

It sold to a new family in SoCal last month.

Pretty amazing... I passed a J-10 a few years ago because of no
parking, it was $400 obo.... no rust... black ATF...

Driving to Argentina could take a while.... ship to Valparaiso,...
what about going accross the cordilleras thru Chile ... how high is
the pass highway 7 on your side and 60 on the chilean side... it may
need serious re-jetting.... then we can sell it to you....

Or may be Lima, Peru, I have an aging aunt that I need to visit.

Cheers,

Michel
